Nah you don't need to play the previous games. The story in the 2nd is basically you getting your gang to be the bosses in town. And probably here it's the same.
The only reason to play the 2nd (storywise) is to see who some of the characters are.

I checked on steam.. in europe game costs 49€.. plus already.. 35€ of fantastic dlcs... ffs the game is out just now and they are already trying to suck costumers money!
i dont think i wanna support this crap of business :\
They move a step ahead with a good port and take two steps back with crap dlc business!

I'd buy this right now at the full price point if it weren't for the fact they were going to, self-admittedly I might add, nickel and dime me for boat loads of DLC in the future.
Has anyone (US member preferably) ever had issues with Steam banning an account due to a dodgy (key-store, foreign issued) key? I've used plenty on EA downloader, but really have a bad feeling about trying with Steam.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.
