Maybe if you have a very good gamepad for your PC but I would never play this game with a keyboard+mouse because it was designed as a console game with a controller in mind. There were not even headshots in GTA3/VC so there's no reason at all to play it with keyboard+mouse. And I don't want to even imagine how bad the driving controls must be with a keyboard. Also I doubt that it will look significantly better on PC than on Xbox since Rockstar doesn't care that much about PC gamers. So I would choose the bigger TV screen. When I tried GTA3 on PC I didn't see any difference compared to the PS2 version. |
I enjoyed this.
Wow.
Doesn't matter if there are head shots or not... GTA is 3d right? it's not fuckin wolfenstein, thus having the wsad/mouse combo will kick any controllers ass.
I don't get why people prefer controllers to keyboard/mouse, asides from the couch factor... weird.

In some games it works really well and beats the mouse - Goldeneye for example. Nothing beats that console control scheme. But in the majority of the cases I agree - the mouse & keyboard combination is unparalled.
I don't LIKE this combination however because of the bulk and the requirements for a flat, correctly levelled surface for them both to rest on.

any day now any day NOW
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

i cannot believe there is no release yet.. it must be in every shop in the U.S by now.. somebody must have done an ISO rip and uploaded it... maybe there is new protection for the XBOX !
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

I doubt that... it might be a DVD9 though, cause the PS2 release barely fit on a DVD5.
