Go rescue someone from Northwatch Keep.
Ok, where the fuck is northwatch keep? No location on map, didn't get any from quest provider, it wasn't on the map in the castle and no npc tells me where the fuck it is.
Does the game really force you to use the compass markers and clairvoyance for fucking derps? |
Sorry, but the only derp here is you When you tag a quest on your journal, location appears on your with a GIANT marker .
If not, I reccomend you to go and play Morrowind. I'm sure you won't survive even five hours |
How about you learn to read? I only complain about markers not showing when there is a specific location stated, and no, it doesn't show when it's selected, only shows on map where I'm supposed to go(pointing an empty space on the map).
And my main complaint was about the game pulling the quest locations out of it's ass.
For example: Find the Legendary Red Eagle sword! Just a small mention about it in a book, and I get a quest which again(by using show on map, or derp-voyance)), points to exact place where I can find this long lost artefact. It's a fucking derp mode that does half the quest for you, without giving a possibility of doing any self research, It's the same with EVERY quest. |
Are these the quests in the Miscellaneous section? You have to click on Miscellaneous on the left hand side to activate the markers AND click on the individual quests on the right, just activating the quests on the right will not place markers on the map.

"And behold I dreamt of the great warrior, he saved me in my time of need. Today a stranger walked into the camp, he was the chosen one from my dream, this great warrior was called FuckNugget"

This alone is why Elder Scroll games are fucking awesome....
last night when I first hit the village or Riverwood I walked into the first house. it was night and this kid was sitting at the dinner table while his parents slept. I snuk around stealing stuff and eventualy he caught me and started making ruckus so his parent woke up and where like WTF and chased me down...I lost them crossing the river and later headed back to town...fucking parent recognized me and started chasing me again so I was like FUCK YOU die and orphaned the kid lol that was awesome on it's own lol

Any non-respawning containers for the poor (no money for a house) in the vicinities of Whiterun?

Love the game so far, definitely worth buying even though it does need some patching and modding to perfect it.
I do wonder 1 thing though, say if I cast same fire spell with say 20 in destruction skill and if I cast same spell without any perks taken but say 90 in destruction skill will the spell do more dmg?

deffered shadows are pretty much the norm in most games these days, not many devs do the hard lined old way no more, its all dynamic and flickery shit which is supposed to be next gen :O
im guessing if there are options for it one could max out AA on shadows and up the texture size of said shadows but that normaly kills a fair amount of pc's. albeit engine allowed to do this well anyhow.

What you mean "deferred shadows"? The correct term is "shadow maps" as opposed to "shadow volumes".
Also, AA on shadow maps cannot be implemented, unless the developer puts it in his rendering pipeline.

Try this in your SkyrimPrefs.ini:
Quote: | iBlurDeferredShadowMask=6
iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=2048
iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096 |
|

Does it become slideshow with that?

Nah maybe I lost 1-2fps
If the shadows are too "blurred" you can set it to 3-4 instead of 6

Goddamn retarded companions, fighting an extremely hard boss and the bitch decides to draw her bow point blank, with no way of forcing her back to sword

Never use companions in any first person RPG, I don't remember a single game in which they worked properly. My doggie is doing fine here though, but teh little bitch keeps barking. I think I'll leave him.
