just killed my first dragon at lvl 10 and wtf... i got a shout i already had ... epic buzkill, i only found 2 dragon shrines sofar so this sux balls ...

also the thieving system is weird , i could take potions at the alchemist of her counter and also almost all ingredients as they where white and not red ... take coins from people right in front of their nozes ... inconsistent, will need a modder to make it all make sence Sad

Finally ran into the first huge bug. It has been mentioned before. A main quest line character in "A Cornered Rat" is somewhat broken (no audio, among other things). Guess I might be doing side quests until this gets fixed, since I want the full experience Smile

i tried multiple alt tab, alt enter, and nothing.
don't get me wrong, is a good game, and if i dint have witcher 2 around, i would probably play it every time i could play Smile.

Killing dragons gives you dragon souls, which you can upgrade shouts with.

It's whatever you set your sheath weapon to.

Some buttons don't like being remapped. I've found that remapping sheath to "t" prevents me from using it to drop items, but mapping it to "r" and "q" worked.

Also it looks like the help menu has the remapped buttons shown, but the bar on the bottom won't show rebound buttons.

You'll have to do circles with your mouse to rotate objects.

Found a little war map (Well there's several.) while exploring the nobility households, have a lot of map markers now so things are a bit cluttered, been traveling from city to city in order to unlock (fast travel.) between them all.

Also noticed level scaling as now around level 10 Elven and Dwarven equipment started appearing, funny how elven which is usually a very weak material has gotten quite a boost even above Orcish which was normally a top-grade material.
(Have a lot of ores and bars of metals I've not heard about before, maybe it's to make up for what seems to be the missing adamantium and mithril equipment.)

(Traveling the cities advanced the main story a bit further than expected though so I skipped some steps when I gave a report to a certain Jarl, interesting but he was very impressed I took such initiative and gave me some more work immediately though it seems to have been one of those random generated misc quests.)


EDIT: I guess Solitude, Whiterun and one more city (Greycloaks allegiance.) are the main settlements since they're fully walled in and separated unlike say Falkreath or Dawnstar.

Top end crafting skill (You can see it by checking that tree in the perk / level up screen.) is called dragon smith or some such so that's likely what.

...and by using nvidia it seems.. Getting FPS in the 200-300 range (inside) and bascily a constant 60 FPS outside, seems like its very optimized.

Really enjoying this as well, one of those very rare games you just can't wait to get back to..

My performance (ATI) got a huge boost when I disabled vsync. Even fixed the mouse lag. Now it feels even more like Oblivion.

What Bethesda created here is simply amazing. I think I'll even rate this slightly above Gothic 2. Finally something to top that one, it has been very long. I find the combat very fun. Blocking is timing dependent, finishing moves are actually nice and it feels more real now.

When I watched the nerdgasm videos, the finishing moves always cut to 3rd person, why dont mine do that?

Also, anyone worked out a way to rotate items in the inventory on PC?
