@sabin..
Are the role choices crucial to playing say I normaly play a thief/bow and bit of sword type character, but I know the magic is neat as well, can I still use magic effectivley for support of myself or is skyrim a rpg that makes one have to be a mage type to start with?

If he means how do you cancel shots you do that by tapping R.
@moosenoodles It works for me. Not really effective since I have the magika pool of a rabbit but more effective than it was in Oblivion.

You serious?? This is allready known to mankind for thousands of years and was invented by people who lived in caves.
Anyway.. this game is fucking me up... i play during the night and midday and get some sleep in the morning and i feel TERRIBLE.. been ages since a game had this big impact on me.

Hold it down longer. See how that goes for you, also you might want to invest some points in overdraw.

thanks, would be more neat if one could dabble well in all areas but not be master of them. |

You have to "load" every shot for a second or so, otherwise there is no power behind them. After having shot one arrow, there is a period of about one second where you have to wait for the character to get a new arrow, and if you try and shoot right away the shot will more easily fail.

After 18 hours played, the game has now started crashing randomly. It happened once or twice (after maybe 10 hours) but now it happened in less than 20 minutes a few times in a row.
Not fun. Not fun at all.

Another bethesda game, another autohotkey script... yay.
Binding f to activate completely messes up your favorites.
Using AHK solves it since the key you assign to f now works as the favorite/unfavorite key, which doesn't happen if you use the in-game bindings.

Got a question? Is there anywhere we can store loot? I've killed three dragons so far, and collected the scales and bones, which I assume will be useful later for a dragonscale armour.
But the shit is heavy, don't wanna lug it around

how do you change from bow to spell? do you have to press tab, select magika, destruction, then the spell?

in your magika you can put to favorite spells and stuff , by pressing F then in game press Q and select from favorite whatever you want
