To put it as basically as possible; Do you have HDMI? Yes? You can Reset Glitch Hack. You have to be very, very, very unlucky to have a NAND that is unexploitable, like the CB6751/CB6752.

You will need three basic things:
1. a device capable of dumping the NAND (a cable, peripheral, or other brand-name device)
2. a device that will do the actual glitching (coolrunner, xilinx, or other brand-name device)
3. a cable to program the glitching device (can be built or bought)

Once the Team Xecuter devices are out in the wild, I'm sure that there will be loads of tutorials on installing and using their devices. Since this is what I will be using (apart from their programming cables), I cannot comment on any other tutorials that may be floating around the net somewhere. Just keep in mind that attempting this is not for the faint of heart as a couple of the soldering points are incredibly miniscule and some of the more technical programming aspects can be a bit daunting (unless you are using some of the better apps out there that do the majority of the work for you, which I don't use because I want to learn how this works, not just be some filthy, stinking, pirate). Once I've glitched two or three, I'd be happy to do a write-up on my experience(s) with the Team Xecuter products. But since I'm having to wait until they are in stock, it could be a while.

In addtion to Xecuter CoolRunner NAND-X Add-on. I need 2&3 from your post?
I found some used hdmi xbox for 80$.

I dont mind soldering part as i have fixed my lcd monitor twice already.

I guess i should wait a month or so before they become mainstream. Or so for information to become more clear
. But as electrical and computer engineer i shouldnt have any issues in getting this done rather quickly. I will read up various forums the weekend.

You dont need any of that nandx crap. Make a basic LPT Jtag cable and an easy CLPD JTAG will take like 20 min tops. Get a matrix glitcher or others. Seems the xecuter product is using the same long wire fix to deal with Slims like the rest, so I doubt it will work any better.

Did 2 trinity's today with matrix

Nice!
Fuck God! (get it Wink ) You can run extracted files without DVD drive too. All you need is XeXmenu and or a FSD version Smile
But seriously, extracting files is much better imo (with xbox image browser). Its also easier to modify a game that way. Yeah there are even trainers out to JTAGs Wink Makes games like dead rising much cooler Wink
And XM360 beats yaris swap/dlc unlocker

Just glitched a Trinity slim this afternoon using a xecuter coolrunner. Pretty straight forward hack tbh, there are 3 solder points that i think could give soldering noobs trouble.

Used Jtag Tool which did all of the hard work in dumping, comparing, building the ecc image then the freeboot ect.. really easy.

Now of for some testing Very Happy

I'm not skilled enough to do it myself (and no I don't want to spend weeks practising how to solder either) so I'll just pay someone else to do it for me Very Happy

So, my XBOX is being glitched (will have my console back on monday)

What do I do after I receive the glitched XBOX? Do I need to burn some disc with a dashboard, or what?

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

What tools are available to build an ecc file...?
I'm almost to this point in the hack and I'd like to be ready for it when I get there.

I got my dash updated, nand dumped & finally got that fucking coolrunner chip flashed.
Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, that fucking thing put me in the goddamn hospital for 3 days. What a bitch!!!!

Now I'm working on the coolrunner resistors, caps & lead wires and will solder those tonight.
The next step will be to build xell and then on to gbuild.

I think I would rather do just jtags for a living. This hack is tuff but I'm learning through the problems as I go. Hopefully it pays off and I have a glitched console when I'm done.

Jtag tool does everything. You don't need to download any other program.
It takes you through the whole process from reading the NAND then comparing the dumps, then it builds the ecc image for you from your NAND.bin. Then it writes it back to your NAND. Start your Xbox and get the cpukey from xell. Then go back into jtag tool enter your cpukey it checks against the NAND dump then builds ggboot and writes that for you.

Done one program simples Wink

I can see some tears and broken xboxes if non competent solderers attempt this. There are a few tiny points to solder esp R3b15 on the slim! Saying that it's easy if you have experience. Noobs need to definitely get practice on some old DVD rom pcb or something.
