I tried it, but i get somekind of error while installing halflife, do you get that also?
Ill try to get the message again.

Double click on the HL2 icon on your desktop, and *POOF*, the game works

Dude i mean more describing instructions.
So teoreticly you have just installed Steam, Half Life 2, CS source (With the 5 disk Vegence-rip).
What would be the things you would do.
Tell me step by step.
Would you copy the files in the Vengence folder and paste them into the steam folder(and replace the existing files) then run hl2install.exe?
Then run the Half Life 2 shortcut on the desktop.
Is that exactly what you would do?

The installation notes are in the so-called NFO file, which is available from this very site  http://www.nfohump.com/index.php?m=nfo&id=80036
Run a full installation, both HL2 and CS:S or the process will crash 
When completed, double click the executable in the crack folder on disk 5, a DOS box will pop up and the protection gets the boot  Ignore any Steam menus and double click the new HL2 shortcut on your (computer's) desktop

i just dont understand why you ppl even bother using these cracked releases and updates, its such a hassle.
just create a normal steam account and get steam-down or non-steam-down
and let it dload everything it needs, then play, voilà.
