F12 works here for legit atleast.
They did recently extend their API for screenshots in steamworks, so it could be that Skyrim is exclusively using steamworks screenshots and nothing else? |
What happens if you use PrintScreen button?
I really need the feature to take screenshots as I did in, for example, Fallout NV that is Steam too. |
Creates a "ScreenShotx.bmp" in the skyrim folder.

The whole system of leveling based on non-combat stuff, but then scaling all the mobs up to your higher level when you don't have the combat skills to match is broken beyond belief.
Precisely what ruined the previous game for me as well - just can't enjoy it knowing I'm being penalized for increasing most of my skills. |
Im sure there will be a mod or something to adjust scaling.
That being said I invested some points into crafting/improving and find it more than OK in fights etc.

When I run the Launcher it turns on Steam...
dont want Steam on...
Where was the Fullscreen file again ???
I found the Skyrim dir (C:\Docs.....) but its empty...

I haven't seen any scaling problems. Just make sure you max out (as in use only one to do most of the damage) at least one combat skill at all times and you should be fine.
BTW, didn't they show that you can freeze water with frost spells? Can't seem to beable to do it. Or am I misremembering? ;o

What's the .ini tweak for getting some decent-looking shadows? Currently, they look like shit, while everything else is nice (on medium settings, still trying to figure out what will work best performance/visuals wise).

still have some problems - when i paly fullscreen - game freezes and i get blackscreen after 10 minutes of playing
when i play windowed its all fine 
hope its only driver problem and will be fixed in catalyst 11.11 next week

Well now after giving some time to the game, i really do enjoy it and as a vanilla experience it´s way better than oblivion was as that game i couldn´t get thru without heavy modding, even tho ofc there is some stuff i want modded here too hehe
Graphics wise at times the game is breathtaking and other times it´s such an eyesore it´s unbelivable so a bit hit and miss for me personally but still overall damn enjoyable, love how the water seems to boil if you keep up the flame hehe

Yes, but in doing so, the game is grayed out in steam games list and will not receive any updates, as when you switch back to normal ip, it thinks the game is not installed, and no way to change this unless connected via a slow VPN.
Gonna get my refund from CJS.
