hmmm how should i apply JBeckman update? over the crack? because the crack itself contains same files that are of different size than the ones from JBeckman's update.. like those strings or whatever

1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB

"Greately improves the sharpness of the shadows with no FPS loss"

because sharpness is usually seen as a "quality" Rolling Eyes

rest seems good though..

Without a doubt..that's one of the main reasons i picked this up.. If you remember in the old games how even sneak attacks with a bow didn't work well.. So far..my bow will drop a normal mob down to about %10 dmg with sneak attack and another little round to finish off and remain in stealth.

The game actually runs much better for me under Windows XP. Surprised
Same settings as W7 x64 and with shadows set to medium instead of low I get an increase of 5-10fps.
Which do matter when we're talking about 30-35fps in some places.

Welcome to reality.

Yes, Win7 is prettier, loads faster, treats apps better and overall is clearly THE choice. There's just one small issue: some games still run better on XP.

Aren't you finding that the arrows fly far too straight? I'm just using the first bow you get and there seems to be no gravity, almost zero arrow drop Sad

Did anybody find out, how you can transfer enchantments from one weapon to another?? I was reading that this is possible - using a soulstone. But I have no idea how thats supposed to work...

Just taking the Skyrim - Interface.bsa seems to be enough to fix the mouse interaction in the UI.

The arrow drop is still there..but I do agree they are flying a tad too straight. I find myself shooting high trying to compensate.

Cartoon....Bows are now treated a high damage weapons instead of just a different name for a sword with a longer strike. They are much more worthwhile using at this point. (Mainly while combining with sneak attack)

Anyone else getting vertical mouse stuttering? Horizontal is smooth, but vertical is jumpy/stuttery and is making me nauseous and I can't play it like this. Using retail version now.

edit: yes I tried lowering graphic settings to no avail. Anyway, horizontal movement is perfectly smooth.

Some is wrong with the crack I think. I need to use mouse wheel to navigate menus, and some people say (with not pirated game) they don't need the mouse wheel at all to navigate menus.

I used to be a knee like you. Then I took an adventurer in the arrow.

Download the archive from this post and take the Skyrim - Interface.bsa file from it to fix the mouse in the UI.

edit: Razor update repack most likely fixes this issue also, haven't tried it yet.

I hope its not overdone - like in NEHRIM. As good as Nehrim was, the combination Stealth+Bow was so insanely overpowered, it almost ruined the balance. You could kill almost every creature with Sneak+bow with one hit.

But I noticed, too, that even in the beginning of Skyrim using a bow felt more powerful than in Oblivion.
We will see how well balanced it is....

This is worth the buy in my opinion. I played something like 3 hours straight last night (RARE for me, only other game thats done that this year is BF3) and was totally stunned at how this game is.

Sure there are issues with the UI etc, I actually found myself starting to get quite used to it. The favourites really does make everything quite quick to move between. Only ballache so far has been the weight problem, but I guess thats fair enough. I was walking around with like 10 greatswords in my bag ahaha.

Been running the Razor release because the RU CJS fuckup didnt get sorted yet, but I will probably buy this full price as I think they've done a great job and for all the little issues, patches etc which will no doubt be coming out makes things just simpler in the long run.

For all you people massively raging the gfx, I'm not quite sure how you can say that. Sure there are a few textures which dont look amazing and the shadows need tweaking but I've found the game pretty damn immersive so far!!

Have you played Oblivion recently? That thing is an eyesore compared to this, cummon guys seriously I think nostaglia is really blurring your vision here! Its normal of course.
