Well, my patch installed fine but it says Version 1.0 on the launcher. Is it suppose to say 1.0?

Does the game have a main plot or is it all random cases?

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Whenever the game is loading a new scene or even another room the framerate drops dramatically. It takes a few seconds to settle down before it's back to normal. Couple minutes later while looking around the same scene the same thing happens. Or not, seemingly random.
-str and -npd don't help. It's like it's constantly accessing the pagefile or something. You'd think 4GB of RAM is enough to play an Xbox port but maybe not.

Run it without a crack => Fraps still doesn't work, and duplicate process is still there.
Only Steam version is special it seems.

Listen to the man.
Ok i like the idea of the game, but now after playing this for a while (currently at the last Vice case) i cannot go on. It's just too repetitive. I would manage if the story was more interesting, but it just isn't. The gunfights are boring (and quite short usually), the driving is driving me insane (bad pun intended) and some of the design choices wouldn't even be so bad if you didn't have to repeat them ALL THE TIME.
Let's take the questioning. Half the time, Cole says something that has no bearing on what the suspect is saying. Not to mention you press doubt to someone and Cole either makes a good follow up question or goes totally crazy, calling the accused all kinds of names and stuff. It gets really annoying since i didn't want to say what he does. Simple fix would be to actually write what he will say, so you don't need to think about what the games definition of "doubt" is in the current situation.
Also the clues, you basically walk around and wait for the controller to vibrate, pick something up, make 360 with the R stick and try to zoom in. What fun. Why can't i decide if something is important or not? The only reason to find everything is to get a better score at the end, which doesn't seem to do anything.
The reason i lasted this long was probably because i though the game would be better. I thought the story would keep me going, but apart from the murders (which were lame at the end) there hasn't been much... The main story just failed to arouse my interest...

Steam is downloading a 1.140 MB update, unsure what that's about, just noticed it.
EDIT: Single file called simply DLC with no extension.

Loving the game. Slow burning and easy going, don't even have to drive. Just soaking in the great performances all around. I'm at the halfway point and so far it looks like a landmark title. It's a slightly dodgy port and it performs a bit under solid but R gets paid for this one. It's an epic effort.
Asus, B550, 3700X, 3060, 32GB.

same here, just unplayable.
Even without 3D Vision (normal 2D), it's the same. Impossible to get it run without horrible stuttering. Set all on the lowest settings and resolution, nothing to do.
Happily didn't buy this one.

Played this on PS3 back when it was released & while i kinda liked the cases themselves, a lot of it was extremely predictable, and most cases just seemed more of the same. (even though they weren't, ugh not making much sense but you'll get the idea)
The atmosphere was cool though and it did feel like you're playing something different, but it had its flaws.

Hi there! A little help with the game: when I need to read a document it麓s always very fuzzy, I can麓t see what麓s writing on it. That doesn麓t happend in the Xbox version. It麓s maybe cause I麓m playing with the -str commandline (without it Lag, Lag everywhere...)
Anyone with the same problem? Thanks!
