Well if you install JBs patch (or whatever his name was) menus works like a charm, seems some files are borked with the razor release/crack. I suggest waiting for a proper.. And backup yer saves.
was that with or without the update1 RazorDOX release installed as well?
Only with the Razor release, no patch, if i remember corectly.

Btw sabin what's that about that 3dmv2 crack found the v1 but not the v2
Wasn't there two cracks by 3DM? No? Well the first one then. I thought there were two and it was the second. Oh... >_< Sorry. Yeah, first was Ali213 and then came 3DM.
the Y axis sensitivity is even higher, when I'm indoors. Strange.Could it have to do with FPS? Indoors the FPS are very high, but the X axis sensitivity is the same regardless, only Y skips around.
Developing games for PC is "a headache", Bethesda has said. There are so many hardware configurations and drivers to consider that even the most robust game can come undone at the performance-seams.
"From a technical standpoint, yes, the PC is a headache," Hines told Joystiq. "It just is - a million different possibilities of hardware, drivers, etc.
"As you saw with Rage, all it takes is some bad video card drivers and years of hard work comes off as 'buggy', when in fact it's a really solid, stable game."
The other problem when developing for PC, Hines said, is piracy. remember, no piracy on consoles
"Unless you decide not to make your games available for PC, it's a problem, and you have to deal with it," Hines remarked.
Bethesda will deal with it not by using "Draconian measures", but by handing extra power to the PC audience.
"We do the best we can to protect it without resorting to Draconian measures," Hines went on, "and we continue to enthusiastically support our PC fans with things like the Creation Kit and the ability to create and add unlimited amounts of mods and content to your existing PC game."
yeah thanks sabin i thought so allready i was like huh 3dm only released one crack i'll give that one a shot when my download is done
correction it should say we don't want to work too much and fix our bugs @ ixi ^^
edit 2 : damn that guy of bethesda is so talking out of his neck both morrowind and oblivion where unplayable pre community patches due to the sheer amount of bugs and him talking bout piracy only on the pc sigh when are reps going to wake up and see that it's just as bad on the consoles?
"Unless you decide not to make your games available for PC, it's a problem, and you have to deal with it," Hines remarked, with his head firmly buried in the sand...
Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
Can we get some light on what the deal with razors crack and JBs patch?
I installed from pheonix -> razordox patch 1: character creation menu was not working too shit hot, some panels refused input.
So I slapped JB's patch over instead and it seems to have improved the issue, need to throw razors launcher over top if you want to use that.
Is this the best combination for playing the game at this point?
@ixigia:
What about that quote is supposed to be shocking? Yes, it is more complicated to develop for PC due to hardware variety. Yes, by all accounts and studies and research, piracy is more prevalent on PC, than consoles. They didn't claim that there is no piracy on consoles whatsoever, so don't bother putting words in their mouths.
So, why is that wall of text supposed to be noteworthy (which I assume you think it is, since you went to the trouble of posting it).
Are you people seriously out there looking for every instance where a developer (whom you all seem to have such low esteem and regard for, it's disgusting) dares to imply that PC development is more difficult, to call them out on it, like it's some sort of crime against you? Seriously?

The burden of proof isn't on me. You're the ones defying claims.
Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.
lol ixigia and cedge ixi didn't say that he merely posted the link i'm just personally tired about the qq by gamedevs cause they can get away with broken games on the consoles easier
I suppose if I ever refute somebody elses claim I can take the same stance because "somebody else said so" with no actual proof of my own.
Two way streets, who needs em?
You've got a clear claim from a source that is irrefutably more informed about the matter than yourself. Since they made the game, and thus, are inherently more informed about these technical matters than you are, then their statement carries inherent weight. This does not mean that it is impossible that they are lying, but if you want to prove that they are lying, you need hard evidence, not just impressions or gut feelings.
The door is open. Substantiate your claim. Find me some Gamebryo file headers. Find me a mention of Gamebryo or Gamebase Co, Ltd in the credits. Anything other than your own ridiculously conceited belief that you know so much more than the developer, or can prove that they are lying just because you believe they are.
