well first impressions are good
loving the artmosphere of the game, its BLATANTLY gamebryo, but ive waited a long time for another elder scrolls game.
so yeah the game is fantastic apart from the UI, which is utterly and completely fuking horrific.

How important is the first choice (Imperial vs. Stormcloack)? The UI is very easy to use if you forget you have a mouse once you press tab btw. Feels a bit more intuitive that way.

It's not. The Russian version will unlock at the same time as the rest of the European versions. That's 00:00 GMT which is in 4 hours. |

Does the melee combat get less clunky as you level up?
I'm using a 2h mace at the moment and oh my goes does it feel awkward to wield.

Maybe I'm too used to shitty action RPG ports, so I have seen a lot of crappy UIs, but the UI in this one isn't as bad as it seems at first glance once you get used to it. I'm quickly flipping through it, just don't try to use the mouse. It is a bit shit that doing something takes too much keystrokes, but I've liked games with far worse and clunkier UIs.
Great atmosphere and the gfx are very good imo. Much better than vanilla Oblivion. Only major problem are the shadows.
