Installed to c/games/lanoire and copied the patch there. It doesn't do anything and just sits there with 25% cpu usage. Interstlingly the same thing happens when I try to run the game. No copy protection warning, no nothing.

I didn't even have to rename anything, I just installed it in the default directory with the default name, updated (following the instructions) et voilà, everything's ok.
But I guess it's kinda random since some users can't make the game work not even by following all the steps/renaming the directory etc.

If i add -str -npd it runs nice besides that the mousecursor shows all the time , if i remove commands it runs like shit but no mousecursor showing damn console port

Does it happen for you guys to be thrown out of the game with no error ?
Just like if the game suddenly decides to alt-tab.
I'm thinking that those performance issues are from the crack.

Dunno, GTA IV was modded to hell and back by the guys on the unofficial forums. Kinda same engine here, well worse but still. I just hope I'll be able to play it properly.
