Played the beginning with Theta's release. The game looks like it's seven years old and it runs like Crysis on a Pentium 2. Fraps doesn't work so I can't be sure about what kind of performance I was getting, but I tried lowering every setting to a minimum and it still felt sluggish. My guess is that they hard locked the games fps to 30.
the only thing that bothers me is small but noticeable framerate drops especially during closeup investigation... dunno if it's my setup, crack or just the game overall.
Add -str -npd -nonv in the command line if you have performance issues.
-str Enable single threaded renderer, which may improve performance
or compatibility on some systems.
-npd Disable the 'D3D_PUREDEVICE' flag from device creation. May help
if you have graphics compatibility issues.
-nonv Disable Nvidia 3D support.
You will probably see the windows cursor ingame but at least it will run better.

This helped me, and now I have very very little FPS drops!
