Is there a trick to throwing C4 packs, like in BC2? I used to throw at low flying helis and detonate, my favorite thing to do in BC2.
If it's flying low, why not? It's not like they gonna bounce off just because he is flying
What I meant was throwing them a good distance, 5-10 m like in BC2, you know, the throw-and-jump trick, that would let you toss ammo, medkits and C4 pretty far away?
I couldn't do that in BF3 so far, I thought there might be a trick to tossing them further.

CTD? Friend had that problem, think updating directx finally did the trick. directx_jun2010, but the fuckers didn't bother to change the name when they updated it april2011..
Another funny thing about the game, BF3.exe crashes for me straight on map load if I overclock to 750/1900, default 715/1800 work flawlessly. Kicker is this card is benchmark stable @ 800/2000
Right, so I'm loving BF3 and playing loads, however I'm looking for someone in the platoon whom enjoys using the choppers and is a fairly competent pilot.
I've unlocked a fair amount of gunner upgrades and enjoy playing as engineer to fix the chopper when we get the opportunity.
Writing asking for peoples battlelog nicks because basically im getting fed up of getting into a chopper and then having the pilot bail out randomly just so he can take a point...
Helicopter is such a destructive addition for the team its just a shame I haven't managed to find anyone half decent whom plays regularly.
Werelds / Sniffty arent bad (better than me at least though that doesnt say much) though the seem to prefer having gay sex in the tank together and I get bored just waiting around for some random pleb to jump into the pilot seat and smack the fucker into the ground 3 seconds later

Almost done with the tanks, only need like 14000 more points or so (basically one good night, if that; 3 good matches in a row will do the trick too) to unlock the CITV station. That will give me a 3rd spot in tanks so I can have someone lasering shit for me and make my guided shells useful

I use to love taking c4 and tossing them on tanks running behind them in bf2, planting and then blowing them up glad I can still do this in bf3 =) , i just got the mortar it is fun to use but it usually takes me 2 shots to kill . I use to be decent at flying the heli and getting kills , it's way harder now for me. Tanks are way more realistic because they aren't so overpowered but you can still get a really good amount of kills if you are carefull for AT. The jets I find useless, maybe cause i suck at flying and don't have the missiles, just the machine gun. Support class is my favorite because of the awesome machine gun you get, the choice between c4 and mortar. This game is awesome but it needs more maps. December is a long time to wait for Karakand .
Most of it is the same old, nothing special but there are some really nice levels i found so far... Graphics and sound are brilliant, story is really meh as is the annoying ai etc but i enjoy it every so often when I fancy a break from online play.

The SP is no better or worse than the CoD games, except for Black Ops perhaps which was just fucking terrible. They're both on-rails cinematic experiences filled with silly events. Only difference is that this one looks better doing so
