I think in MW2/BO we had weapons with switchable scopes? Like holo and long range on the same weapon
Nope, don't think so.
Only game I can think of in recent memory that resembles reality when it comes to stuff like that is RO2 and the ability to look through either the high powered scope, or look under and down the iron sights.
more often than not, less is more, gotta balance the weapon etc. and especially no one in their right mind would mount a holographic sight AND a scope on a M4 like in on of the screenshots posted
Yeah, that seemed really dumb.
best thing about this is that a right-handed person is holding a gun with a scope mounted on the RIGHT side. how the fuck are you supposed to look through that without breaking your neck
One has a magnifier and the other is a red-dot reflex...u just have to move ur face a lil to switch between them...other eye opened...
Has been my standard-rifle plus the G3 in the german army now 10 years ago...
We called it the ladies' rifle because of the low recoil compared to the G3...first day at the shooting range some guy from my bootcamp broke some bone in his face cause he didn't lean enough into the rifle (G3)....ehehe...start bootcamp all over again in some 6 months time...brilliant. (back when we had to serve at the army...)

well the m16 is more accurate but its not suprising u did not hit much with the ak they have a much higher recoil than one would like, but if you do hit someone with an ak you are much more likely to kill them than when using the m16.

This was my thought as well, maybe modifying the ini/cfg and making the file read-only should do the trick (just a wild guess though since I don't have the game).
