Quote: | IGN: Will the PC version support DirectX 11?
Todd Howard: Yes, but I guess the real question here is do we take advantage of DX11's big new features and the answer is 'not specifically'. Our graphics work centers around doing things that will look the same regardless of platform, and sometimes that implementation will be different on the 360, PS3, and PC. |
Whatever that means, i guess no specific dx11 effects for pc.

I'm still on 5:4 sadly, at least for a few more months. |
It does.

Yeah I ordered this shit as well. Not gonna buy it digitally when I have to pay 10-20 more € (FUCK THAT) and can't be arsed to get it 5:ish € cheaper from UK and wait 4-5 days after release to get it. Nor am I going to risk it from a shady cd-key store.
It better be good or I'll stop pre-ordering games for a while again! Epsilon better be telling the truth.

Hey! I have an idea! I saw this on documentary, but I can't remember that was it called, something about parks or south. Well, here it is: you can try to freeze yourself and ask someone to unfreeze you five days later. It's very easy and not harmful to your health at all!
...And I based that on absolutely nothing.

About what? the score of 82% out of 100% I'd give the game? I stand by that.

a 80% score (4/5 or 8/10 whatever) is a ery good score for a game.
review sites throw the 90%+ around too easy (too cheap ? ^^).

Agreed. People have forgotten how grading scales work, they're so hung up on that god damned 9 or 9x% --- remember guys and gals; FIFTY is considered halfway. You want to call a game mediocre based on scores? Do it when the scores are 40-60. 80 and above should, by all rights, be considered "Great" or better.

Indeed. Anything that is 90+ is a classic game for me and one I will play again and again over the years.
Right now I'm not convinced that Skyrim is one. But we'll see once the modders gets started.

I have no doubt that this will be made even better with mods.. and it seems like it's pretty damned good already.

How is the main storyline and the NPCs? Are they interesting or should we expect Oblivion again?
