well, don't be so happy, it's not so bad...but not so good either. Smells the consolized game from far away. Graphisms are very nice I must say that, but the whole game rapes your CPU. And with 3D Vision it can't go better, even if 3D effects are a pure gem with this game, for sure.
Have a try, maybe you will like it. But it is necessary to loot chests for precious items, otherwise ennemies are hard to kill fast, believe me.
Played for 30 minutes. Really should change my CPU...^^"

"smell the consolized" blegh. Here's a hint mate, in case you haven't picked up on it about me yet; I love consoles. I own every major platform. I have ALWAYS owned every major platform and quite often the minor ones too. "consolised gameplay" doesn't bother me. You should also know I'm a huge Snowblind fanboy, I consider their earlier PS2/Xbox titles to be excellent Wink

"it is necessary to loot chests for precious items" what the heck? Is this your first aRPG? No Diablo? Titan Quest? This is an action RPG, treasure chests and loot are STAPLES. Shit, I'd be throwing a right fit if there wasn't tons of chests and loot.

Very Happy

The game is unplayable to me...major slowdowns every few seconds, going from 60 to 15 fps. Meh.

Finished the challenge missions, those enemies were more difficult than the campaign variants though the lack of space and larger numbers also factor into that of course, still they were pretty hectic but at the second playtrough and already rather high level it wasn't too much of a problem, just remember to bring potions and good equipment before attempting those sixteen rounds. What the fuck?! That camera stuttering is from the game it seems (not the crack)... it's absolutely unbearable. Another unplayable game for me... Sad

Jesus H. Unpacking this thing is like playing with Matryoshka dolls! 4.5GB single RAR. Extracts to 5 more RARS. Extracts to another single 5GB RAR. Which in turn extracts to the DVD contents. Sheesh.

No issues with framerate here either. Game looks surprisingly good, though it's not going to win any awards. Definitely has that awesome Snowblind FEEL, so I'm gonna keep playing and then pick up a cheap key. Oh and by the way; you can change from INTERNET connection to LAN connection Wink

Ok... almost a game-breaker for me; NO WEAPON/ARMOUR COMPARISON!! Shopping for new gear is now a painful, clunky, unnecessary chore since there's no way of comparing what you're wearing in comparison to what you're buying.

FFS Snowblind, you know better than that!!

There's a 3.7gb repack, is that any good? I understand that the crack was causing all the corrupted graphics?

Aye, the repack should be good. I snagged a 4.5GB one that extracted to 7.2 and it's absolutely fine with the new crack. Something else I noticed which is odd given Snowblind's history; no water interaction. You can walk ON a pool of water as if it was ice and there's no reaction. Even back in the early 2000s, Snowblind games had interactive water. Not to mention the lack of mini/area map.

What happened to you guys? Sad The game is fun, no doubt, but there's niggly little things that shouldn't exist in the first place.

The stutter isn't caused by a bad crack, it's the game itself.

Ditto. Reminds me of another recent game that had the same problem, can't remember which though.

The game is working fine, but the AF isn't working on ground textures. I'll try updating my drivers (still using the BF3 beta).

how hard is it to answer a simple question, some of you already have completed the entire game...

Can you swap between chars in single player , or is there other way to change your companions appearance?

thank you

Armor and weapon comparison is available Sabin, at least I see red and green arrows on the main attributes of gear when I'm switching equipment whether from shops or the inventory, it doesn't cover every attribute but I use it all the time to compare equipment.

I would answer that question, but I still can't play the game because of the insane camera stuttering. Seriously, what the hell is with that? The game also has quite some poor performance here.

If you actually played the game for half an hour, you would have your answer.
