Not sure if it will work as good in Skyrim but what i had in Oblivion was a mix of One Handed , Sneak , Light Armor , Block , Lockpicking and Alteration As i said it was very specialized and you had to build the skills in the right order and only get to the points you needed (IE: It was useless to get 100 with some skills ) but it was an awesome jack of all trades build that was quite powerful. Cool

Yeah lockpicking for one seems to have some fluff skills that at a glance aren't really necessary (Unbreakable is a crappy skill 100 perk, Wax Key seems useless and Quick Hands situational at best). And note how the skill level ones say locks 'become much easier' to pick - which would suggest you can just do without those as well if you have enough personal skill as a player in the lockpicking minigame. I think they mentioned somewhere that it would be more FO3/NV style this time around.

True and i may switch a few skills this time around depending on their effectiveness. I may get Illusion over Alteration for one as the spells look to be quite nice and useful. Then again that's by looking at the few spells on Elder Scrolls wiki so i'll just wait to see the complete list before making a final decision. I also noticed that there seem to be no Athletics/Acrobatics in Skyrim which i sort of liked too.

One Handed , Sneak , Light Armor and Block are pretty much set in stone though. The ones i may change are lockpicking and Alteration but that remains to be decided Smile

No trolling, though as I wrote earlier, I'm not allowed to share anything until the 11.11.11 date, I'd simply loose too much if I did.
Theres no need for new bsa unpacker, the tools already out do the job nicely vurt.
The 'epic' dragon age troll that I did took place in the useless void right from the start.

It most certainly did not! Laughing I remember that and it started in the DA thread here in Gaming. It was later splintered off and moved to Void

Thats a little bit of a letdown. I loved having a high Acrobatics skill to jump around. Sad

Yes, you'd be seen as troll mod. Laughing

Anyway, I ordered the 4CD (Exclamation) soundtrack. May not like the game, but the music sounds great.

Having to constantly jump to train it was tedious though

Yeah me too. Didn't really care about running faster with Athletics (although having more stamina was nice) but liked being able to jump straight on the roofs of houses/buildings or falling off heights with Acrobatics.

That said they may have combined it with another school of skills like Mysticism now seems to be combined with Alteration/Illusion ect.

Well I doubt actual FLACs would ever be sold, so why not? I will create FLAC tracks and keep the CDs as mementos. Laughing

Don't tell me you don't hear difference between FLAC/CD and the low quality MP3 and low bitrate AAC? Laughing

Epsilon, are you saying that IF you could run Fallout - New Vegas, you can run Skyrim?

My computer is not state of the hard, but I remember how bad Oblivion ran on my old rig, even though it was well over minimum requirement. So I'm thinking about buying the 360-version to not have the same problems this time around...

Vastly improved, people will actually get pushed back from your destruction spells now or start to stagger.
Conjuration will allow you to conjure up magical creatures from the beyond same as in Oblivion.
However you cannot raise a zombie without having a body to raise.
Theres also a spell that will temporarily gain someone life again, same as what was on Mannimarco's staff in Oblivion.

You can put spells on the floor, like traps that gets activated when people walk over them.
In Oblivion you had to have extra magic mods like Supreme Magicka that would give you nice utility spells such as teleportation, you have those here in vanilla Smile
They've carried the system for the spell scroll dlc over, so you can find spells now in the wild that you can learn, and don't always have to find a merchant. I don't know but I think that some might only be found in the wild.

I actually like the change to the skill system where you can invest a point in a skill tree and thus become more skilled and be able to cast higher tier spells, due to the fact that when in Oblivion you had to reach 50 for journeyman to cast a certain spell, I would just run around casting water walking all the time until I had reached the right skill level.
Now it feels more like 'less work' and more fun you're being kept in the game so to say and it makes more sense.

Also like in Bioshock theres various places where you can set things on fire or run electricity through it and the enemies being there or going there will start to burn or get electrocuted.
