The guy is neither married nor does he have kids. He is talking in a "what if" manner. He isn't that old either. He is talking about "retiring" from crime I guess... would make sense.

He does soung like Ray Liotta, plus he talks about retiring and having kids, wich means he is older, maybe more mature. Than he talks about buying a big house, wich means he already has money, so who the hell knows, maybe it is Vercetti.
On the other hand he would be an old fart nowadays

Already looks way more interesting than IV. I hope we can go on those mountains. I also hope they make the combat more fun... it was amazingly boring in IV with that crappy cover system. Also, I hope they don't go on that extreme realism path with this too and make the pace of the game faster. I always see people recommending that dlc when you say that IV was boring. Well, I don't care about that because it's not the story or missions or whatever you think it is that makes the game boring for me. I don't know how to describe it, but for me IV is so boring because of how slow everything in it feels.

Your probably better off playing Saints Row the Third then. Rockstar seems to have chosen a different path for their games. Realism and deep story telling is the package they offer. Crazy action only recently in the EFLC DLC, but still keeping true to the original GTA IV feeling.
Saints Row 3 on the other hand.. Well, you've seen the trailers.
GTA V's trailer looks fucking amazing, I wonder if it's only LA or also SF and LV. I guess it's a San Andreas remake since there's the mountains and deserts aswel. Fucking sweet.
