There is a leaked driver out that supports AA in NFSHP its 266.44.

But AA is only working on the cars... and its not working 100%...

If there will ever be "real" AA in NFS HP2010 is not sure.

The problem is, that the cars are using another rendering-methode then the landscape..

Landscape = Deferred Renderer
Cars = Forward Rendering (Image Based Lighting)

Example 1920x1080 4xMSAA with 266.44 driver (cars are smooth... landscape not)

Lol I played some more just now, the handling is bullshit. It reminds me of NFS:ProShit, the "wheel" doesn't get back to its center position fast enough, I have to countersteer to center the fucking car after turning. (playing with gamepad btw)

Also, wtf with all those police speedwall, what's the point of point-to-point racing in a polica car, I want interceptor events. Tsk tsk, after burnout paradise, Criterion has failed me again.

nfs shift was utter shite and from what i ve read about this one, it is also (in regards to the driving experience, i.e. every car handles absolutely the same (like Leo put it: "like a boat")). Has anything changed with the updates / patches?

No.

But are you confusing Shift with ProStreet ? Cause Shiftw as awesome after I tweaked the handling to my liking. That was a true racer (not NFS-style, but a cool semi-sim racer)

Shift was awesome and Lulzifer is definitely confused on this one, because every car in Shift handles completely different from the other ones Very Happy

This one was shite, the Run is also shite (tried out the PS3 demo for 2 minutes before I went Laughing and got rid of it).

well, yes, shift was very SIM-like. But i didnt like it. And i meant that the cars in hot pursuit supposedly handled all the same, not in shift. I guess i ll be waiting for the next nfs then...
