i am now, officially, not completely terrible at flying a jet. i can actually stay up in the air perfectly fine as long as theres no bridges, trees, towers or buildings around, and the ground behaves itself.
even can enter into a dogfight, and not die immediately

Wohooo, it's finally here! (pre-ordered on July) Installing the sucker, kinda funny to have Origin act like it's downloading it, even if it's installing from DVD. Now I just need to catch up to you all, but see you on battlefield.

"In the case of the PS3... I understand that if you compare it to a high-end PC, it's not going to look as good. But if you compare it to other games on the PS3, including other games we've done previously, I have to say I'm very happy with how it looks.
"Hopefully people will agree when they look at it in the same way."
EA previously said it lead development on PC because that audience "has been the one complaining."
Exec producer Patrick Bach said: "We actually haven't heard any complaints from the console audience. We are letting the PC audience make use of the very expensive hardware that they just bought so they can tick all the boxes and go for the 64-player fights."
In the press release announcing Battlefield 3's impressive "estimated" 5 million week-one sales, EA said it's making "daily improvements" to multiplayer servers. |

They better be making some proper BF maps now after release or Dice HQ might get a visit soon...
Even tho some of the maps seem ok just way to much unused space in most :/

i once crashed without even getting off the runway. true story. not missile, not shot, not even a tree or a hill... just flat out crashed on the runway...
my advice, hang out on the hump server... just did that a couple of hours ago... was only werlii on the server initially, so i could just practice without getting shot down, and then he went easy on me so i could get the hang of shooting.
if nothing else, the hump server is definately a quiet place where you can be sure no other players are going to show up and bother you while you practice

which in theory sounds awesome, but i wouldnt be willing to trust it. if theres no reports of bans happening a month or two from now, it might be worth a shot.
i mean on the grand scale of things, EA is much more likely to go after people who attempt to bypass origin than they are those people who scammed a free bf3 key... i mean a couple thousand missed in revenue is irrelevant next to someone NOT USING THEIR BELOVED ORIGIN.

I'd prefer a digital download, not boxed version.
Seems you can only buy regular BF3 on origin.
