not really. they just wanted a massive title that they could use to draw people in to using their origin platform...

your example is only relevant as long as the product has the language files within it AND the capabilities to switch between them.
buying a product in one region, and expecting it to have capabilities for a region OTHER than what its designed for, is just silly.
he can still play the game, hes not locked out because hes not in russia... but hes got no right to expect a foreign version of the game to have HIS language in it when he doesnt live in the region that the game was MADE FOR...

I play for say 8 mins online and then it freezes the screen, so i have to restart my computer, game runs well, just crashing all the time. |
There is lots of forums about this.
I found removing the video drivers, reboot, install fresh.
Disable ORGIN IN GAME from Orgin settings.
Select graphics mode - not auto.
That all worked for me.
Others have reported avoising punkbuster enabled servers works.

yeah, but from an international point of view, i highly doubt a lot of people will buy from those sites.
Mainly because they are in russian ... the normal joe gamer wont even find those shops lol.
I love tho how people speculate about why someone whould something lol, keep em coming ^^.
PS : EA aren't dumb, they know people will buy internationally, its not a secret. If they didnt want that to happen, they would put stricter rules in place, like Blizzard did with SC2. But they didnt.

Really? You know he's genuine for a fact, do you? The fact that he has a BOXED COPY automatically solves pretty much all his problems. Photograph the box/serial, send to EA = get key fixed. Or even better, take it back to the store and kick up a holy stink.
I don't buy it. EA refusing to help him despite having cast-iron proof? No sir, I don't like it. I bought a cheap Ruskie key for Heroes VI, Ubishit revoked it, I DEALT with it because that's what happens when you buy cheap keys. Now if I'd bought a legitimate one, with a box and a manual or even from an official digital vendor with proper proof of purchase, they'd have helped me. | Hmmm maybe that didn't come across the way I intended to.
What I was thinking was along the lines of how are we better than that (reporting guys who are playing with free keys) if some of us... "convinced" EA's support to give us free keys knowing that that might affect their response to people having genuine problems with their keys?
So IMO the answer is no, "we" aren't better than that.
But I agree that the store must solve Praetorian's problem if EA doesn't, already told him to start a riot over it a few pages back.

how to check whether I have PWP or not?
I got extra key and I don't want to waste on my account again!

I guess I didn't come across as I intended to either; what I mean was, stop the lynchmob attitude bullshit -- we're better than that. Some people pirate, some people buy, some people get free keys from EA. Only three words can sum up what each and every whin... person should do;
Deal with it.
<3
As for EA not supporting legitimate buyers? Bull and shit. If you can prove you own the game legitimately, they are legally bound to help you.

Well, I have a valid and activated LE key, but those ea support guys are really stubborn...
what kinda story should I tell them? if I tell them that I've got it from origin they want an order ID... mh, well I could ask my friend, who bought it on origin to give me his order ID.... (but he has his pwp pack already)

Useless to keep up with this without knowing with more detail what happened with Praetori's copy and customer support.

sabin got a fraud key obtained by sausje so he wants the lynchmob stopped lol
btw i havent reported anyone and im not going to purely because i couldnt be arsed to scam a key, and i cant be arsed to fuck about with origins live chat bullshit to report people who got them.
i just think its ironic the people coming out and saying we shouldnt report the fraud keys is only the people who we already know recieved them

What does the PWP give you ? Just guns which you unlock anyway ? Or exclusive weapons and stuff ?

EA support is really just trial and error. Donmt chat around, go straight for the question and if the guy starts with "we dont/i cant" , simply disconnect and try the next one.

Hello! Just a quick update. Yeah - EA was reluctant to help despite me saying I could take a picture of the box, the key and the receipt. So I went to a shop earlier today, and they said I have to go back to the shop where I originally bought it from (I'm a student, often travel between parents and my dorm). So I'll have to wait until later this week until I can start a shitstorm at that shop as so many here have advised.
I'm pretty introverted and rather shy though, so I'll see how it goes. Hope I can pull it off convincingly. Thanks for the support, guys. I understand there are those that to not believe me - what do I gain by lying? It's not like I'm asking or even hoping for a free key from someone. I'd honestly never give one myself, so I did not expect getting one. This was honestly just about asking for advice what my rights are. Thanks again.

take someones already used bf3 cdkey with you as you can show them the error with a used key is totally different.
