I know the game wont play like that but i do think the game will be a whole lot of fun playing even if you will probably never have a game which will be like that video.
The sniper thing from a chopper was really nice.
The movie itself is pretty good but it doesnt really represent how the online play will be.
This was just an edited movie and i'm sure all this didnt happen at the same time.

There is no assaulting, or has there ever been, as seen in the video. People don't hide from 'cover fire', they just crouch and shoot it out with you.
If that scene happened in a real game the battle would never play out that way. The guys would just run out, crouch, and shoot at eachother until someone dies. If they DARED run out like that they'd be dead in 2 seconds.
I can just see it now too, the MG positions on vehicles STILL look completely worthless. And we all know that those helicopters would never swoop in like that. They'd circle the area and camp like mad.
I don't see any of these issues adressed at all.
A tank killed in one shot? Yah, that'll go over well.
It's an exciting video, don't get me wrong, but a round of BF will never, ever play out like that. Don't get your hopes too high.  |
Of course you are right!
But the reason why I'm exited about this vid is that 2 years ago this could have been a prerendred intro of a game (almost).
The Choreographie is also very nice - of course this will never hapen in a real game - but it shows what is possible.

So, what we have seen in this video is actual gameplay? I really doubt it. They always use some boosted gfx and eye-candy to make our cyber penis grow larger.
Me still waits for the demo to get solid material...

WOW they include a time limit setting!! This truly is the next generation of global fps games!!
(i just find it funny to mention time limit as a feature instead of for example "all classes available" ya know?)

I think they're telling you that you won't be able to play as long as you would in the retail game. They're probably limiting it so that people still want to get the retail to be able to play as long as they want.

No way, no way. Perhaps as drastic as a 20min locked time limit before the map restarts, but not anything other than that. Never, they wouldnt ruin their only demonstration of the game they are so proud of.
If it would have a time limit, as in "glad you enjoyed blahblah buy or quit" fucking screen, forcing you to restart the game, then it will be called a Trial, not a Demo.

I got an asus 6600GT, p4 640 3.2, intel hypethreading motherboard(model?) and 1gb 533mhz kingston ram. Will I be able to play this game with some eye candy or I will have to play it only with limited gfx?

yea that should run it well... recommended is only a 64mb gfx card.. and minimum a 32mb card... so you should get nice fps with high settings id guess

Emm...I didn't ask to comment on my hardware. Personally, I don't give a fuck on what I have on my pc but merely what it can run...

Sorry to say but your specs just are not enough. At 640x480 it might be somewhat playable but I wouldn't even try anything higher than that.
As for the game, I think this game will be one worth buying! Let's just hope they haven't fucked it up somehow because this one has huge potential.

The fact is that no-one can be certain as to exactly how a game will run, I think 'stolen' is evidence for that.

damn, can't play the game
It requires a PixelShader 1.4 Card, but I've only a Ge-Force 4 4200...pretty crappy, its a 1.2 PS Card so fuck that game...and Dice.
I'll stick to BF42
