I applied for a job in a company that sells web advertising space. Not my dream job, but gotta pay the bills somehow.
So apparently a shitload of candidates applied, so before setting up interviews, they've asked us to send an email that explains in one sentence why they should hire us.

And I'm drawing a blank. There's no honest reason why I'd be better than someone else, so I need to come up with some bullshit/funny/cool reason why they should hire me over other candidates.

And what better place than the Hump to ask for help.

I worked similar jobs in the past,and I have enough experience, and I DO have a couple of lines that are good, but it's all overused and cliche.
I still have a day to figure something out, so I though I could pick the collective Hump mind. Smile

Heh, a bit of good news to help with the Battlefield 3 absence.
After drinking a few beers I wrote this in the email:
"If I have to, I'll sell an air conditioning unit to an Eskimo."
And it worked, they called last night and told to come monday morning for an interview. Very Happy

W00t, got the job!
The pay is quite good, the hours alright, coworkers are not douchebags, and best of all, the boss is a gamer!
He said that he was gonna be away on a bussiness trip starting on 11.11.11. and that he was gonna be back when the dragons are no more Laughing

A coworker and I started to laugh while everyone else looked at him like he had gone insane.
