Now that Uncharted 3 is finally there, I really think about getting it and updating to 3.72 firmware. UC2 was IMHO one of the best games of all time, at least for this console generation. There is no way of downgrading from 3.72, right?
This True Blue dongle is not interesting at all, at least for me, as I will soon have a glitched Xbox360, so it's only the few good PS3 exclusives I care about and before I buy a dongle, Blu-Ray burner and "special"=overpriced media, I'd rather buy the games and at least support the devs.
But like a week ago, I read something about a guy stating he found a way to get 3.60+ keys. Anyone knows more about that, is he legit or just another attention whore? Basically, there was no "real" development on the CFW-side since, like what, march? I'd so hate it to update now, just to find out soon this guy really solved it and not be able to use his work... but yeah, I really want to play UC3, so I guess I'll have to take the risk and update , maybe get an overpriced 3.55 console from ebay when there is finally new CFW available.

Developer andbey0nd has released a new tool, called gameDATA, that allows you to select the location in which you install your PKG (package) files. You can now choose between the internal HDD, or the first external USB HDD.
IMO,updating now to 3.73+ is just wrong(unless you have already hacked 360)things are coming,sure,the Blue-ray thingy might be bathetic,but I'm sure it won't be long for a proper solution,at least now you don't need to give up your CFW to play 3.60+ games...

As cyclone said; it doesn't seem to work on 3.55 due to signing issues.. the damned game just reverts to a demo once you sign the old debug EBOOT with 3.55. It's bizarre.
Nah, as far as I know; the Penny Arcade stuff isn't Duplex. Blackotoo uploaded it and he's mentioned in the credits, so it stands to reason it's his release - though I can't be sure. Still; weee! more games
UPDATE: But besides the fix for BF3 (note the Uncharted 3 fix is not the same “method” as the BF3 one), there is more good news that comes out of this release. We can’t say much about it right now, but I just received word that there is a VERY good chance that all the games coming this holiday season and pre-existing unplayable games will soon be playable on CFW PS3s!
Well the E3 flasher is solderless.
You still have to open up your PS3, take it apart and plug that thing in.

The current version shipping supposedly is, those who preordered got a clip that only worked on SOME Slim's - rest still required soldering. Still nothing for NAND consoles like mine though.
He is signed into PSN and opens the multiplayer option in BF3 (dunno if that is possible on 3.55).
Of course a youtube video will almost never prove anything, since there are so many possibilities to fake them.
