This game is freaking greatness. I will be buying the final when it hits store shelves in July, all of you who arent playing the prerelease right now needs to trust me when I say the game owns hard.

same here, was pretty disappointed.
the comic book style is fun for a minute, but the gameplay is pretty standard and boring.
you go from room to room, talk , get things, shoot enemies and can switch to other charakters, nothing special.

The style of the game's brilliant, but what I heard about the gameplay (some sort of railshooter) wasn't that good.

The style of the game isn't that brilliant. The graphics are pretty rough, and they are only imitating (badly, i might add) the style of the graphics in XIII.

theyre not imitating XIII, its called cel-shading, XIII didnt invent it, one of the first games if not the first to use this graphics style was fear effect on psx.
anyway, the only thing that got me interested in this game is that the trailers
were so badly cut so i couldnt make up whats happening in this game at all.
the combat always looked boring in the trailers but due to the weird visual style of the game and the confusing pace of the trailers i actually thought there was much more to this game.
i didnt play it yet but i herd its rail-based so that definitely sucks, no matter what they do with it.
lol its like time crisis without the light-gun action, bleh.

I thought it was a great game, but it really is a true "love it or hate it" kind of game. I played the ps2 version first, and ended up buying the Gamecube version. It is definitely the better of the two.
