guess you tried lowering some stuff ? if not try lowering texture resolution |
Oh hell naw!!
The textures are one of the key components of the graphics in this game. Keep that at max at all times. Lower ANYTHING else

Nice | Nice... unless it's their excuse for the keys turning out to be RU keys?
Because earlier they stated that

Sounds exactly like overheating to me.

Had the same problem, just revert your drivers to 280.XX version, worked for me. No more stuttering, the shadows are still f'ed up tho... But at least it doesnt give me headaches anymore. There is a problem with the new beta drivers, allot of people are having this issue. Only fix for now is reverting to 280 (You will get the error that you need newer drivers and blablabla just press OK and go play without stuttering!)
edit: no this is not overheating! This is a driver bug, so dont worry |
Performance that starts off fine and then deteriorates with those types of symptoms is TYPICALLY overheating. I'm just saying, the guy might want to make sure the inside of his comp is cleaned up. Removing a caked on layer of dust can work amazing wonders sometimes.
Now if the shadows and stuttering were there from the game start it'd be one thing, but if the game runs fine for like 30 seconds and deteriorates? Eh.
Probably right though, just video drivers, but I'd keep general dust maintenance in mind too.
