Origin might scan & report warez, I don't know. I don't know of anyone analyzing what it's doing or scouring our PC's for, or that one day EA might do it on a whim. Yesterday I installed a parallel Win7 load just for Origin so they don't see all my shit. Maybe I'm being overly cautious but I wanted to.

By scanning you're harddrive? Serious, don't think it is even legal.And i've they do it they will be the subject of nerdrage anyway, ea will try there most to make origin a succes.

The MP game is astounding, but I have a few minor complaints.
* MP matches are too short. The round ends just as the game's momentum hits full swing.
* The game is too loud sometimes and the dynamic sound volume can muffle important sounds. (I guess that's realistic though)
* The sounds often have too much effect added. Would be nice to turn them down.
* Squads seem to only be a forward spawn and don't serve any other meaningful purpose. I sorely miss BF2's squad leader orders, etc.

Yeah they'd start a real nerdrage shitstorm if they did, but I don't trust EA yet on this front. It might be legal if they put it in their EULA or the other agreements. I think I agreed to three different ones yesterday when I installed Origin/BF3.

server admins can change tickets and ticket rate, so matches will last longer (conquest mode anyway, dont know if its working in rush mode)
Squad leaders can give attack/defend orders aswell, by aiming at an objective and pressing the spot/commo key.

my bandwidth was a constant 100+ mbit used lol (checked in irc) ...

Mine did this.
I had to taskmanager - kill all origin processes, start again.
Luckilly, it only download ~ 3mb and launched.

^^same shit happened! It downloaded 1.5GB for RU key and 480mb for LE key.
