Just finished this game and i gotta say
HOLY SHIT boy what a ride.
If you go in with the right expectations for this game it can blow your effing mind.
There are so many awesome moments in this game and jaw dropping sceneries to write a book about....but,the russian mission are by fucking far the best,the best!
Man Dima is my new personal hero,is not that he is fleshed out or something,hes not,like every char in here,but the overall experience you get from his missions is amazing,you feel like a russian Vympel going in like a boss with your rusky mates,no heart beat sensors,no hi tech shit,you drop on them like a hammer,three guys and some weapons fuck up an entire security detail at the villa mission.
And oh boy the graphics,the fucking graphics are just to much for the eyes.I hated the scripted shit when i couldnt stop and look arround,the lighting,the details on everything are just amazing (the forest section will make do a double,tripple take)
And there some genuine smart moments with the script and voice acting that take you by the neck and don't let you go  Spoiler: | the scene where your squad mates die,are heavy and very very well done,especially the dimitri,he dies early on,and in the later mission with him it makes you kinda feel for Dima |
The gameplay is your run of the mill script fest,but it is the best ive ever played,some scene are quite heart pumping,like when your hunted down by a russian bomber and he does flyovers and you run like hell searching for stingers.
Some weapons are just absolute jizz to shoot,in the villa section you get the M82 (the barret) and holy shit does it pack a punch,coupled with almost every piece of the scenery being destructable and you get a shooting gallery like no other.
Phew,amazing GAME,but Dice,for the love of god make Battlefield : Dima's Russian Bunch,i wanna play more adventures with my buddy Kiril and Dimitri,fuck those american bouyahs and that shit,russian spetsnaz are the shit!

just edit the directories , also gdfbinary is the path of the dll in the game folder

apparently you don't need that. What initiates the language is the us_En.dll file that you replace when you replace all the corresponding english files.

For me, server loading and performance is worse. Beta ran silk smooth, other than the bugs, this one - load times are ridiculous, and there is significant stuttering. Of course this is on a per server basis but still.

It does run and feel faster for me, maybe around 15% boost compared to same beta settings with my 2x ATI 4770 CF with latest AMD beta drivers.

Something fucked on your end then. I'm just about capped at 60 now, all ultra on a single 6950 (unlocked to 6970 and on 6970 clocks though). The beta already ran pretty amazingly, never dropping below 50. Now, I haven't seen it go under 55 yet (probably has, I just didn't notice it  ). And yes, that is on ATI.
For those looking to increase performance, try the obvious things first. Turn MSAA off and go for post AA if you don't mind a slight vaseline effect, will save you a quite a bit of FPS; gains of this will be larger on shader limited cards (i.e. low/mid end like a 460). Shadow, mesh and effect you can also take down a notch without really taking away from the beauty; I wouldn't recommend toning textures and terrain settings down. That said, the game looks brilliant even on medium so

Don't disable it altogether. Lowering MSAA from 4x to 2x made a big difference performance-wise to me, and not that noticeable difference in quality.

Game is quite fun in MP - I have to admit.
Looks pretty good, though I'm not a big fan of the various visual glitches. I'm using a 5870 ATI - so I guess that's normal. It seems ATI users just have to accept shitfests in all games these days - or is BF3 "fair" and fucks us all?
Anyway, a great game for what it is - and probably the best large-scale MP shooter as of yet.

Ok I havent' read all the 15 new pages but...first impressions after 3 hours play.
Some MP maps are awesome. Such as Caspian and operation firestorm. Think Karg Island was pretty good too. Played some good 64-player conquest here.
I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful this game is once again and I had a good time playing them. Some other maps are way too crowded for 64 players, even for conquest.
Overall I am a little disappointed. I was looking forward to 64-players goodness. It delivers that but only on certain maps. I will play more tonight to really give it another shot, but the mayhem on certain maps it's just not fun and more about firing your gun into the nothingness and hope you hit something.
Still, I really like the game but I feel the Karkand pack can't come soon enough so we get some more maps that are more open.

Arrgh!
Just finished d/l RLD release... installed... and a bloody CRC error in cas_09.cas file... where the hell did that come from 
Luckily it's the only dead file so I just grabbed it from a torrent (1gb) - if anyone is having issues with the game maybe that could be it. OR it could just be my luck.

Through a proxy you can use another country that already has the game unlocked. I heard something about it being unlocked early for the whole world though which would be today. I haven't read all the last pages either.
Exe? Launch it through Origin instead. Or are you talking about cracked version now?
