Thanks for the overall review Guerilla, I suspect the reason for the lack of MW3 style events has been explained by you already, its going for a more real feel, heli's don't smash into buildings and blow up in the field, its mostly mundane get target, remove target and return to base.
MW3 goes for the Michael Bay slot on warfare, big OTT and bad ass BUT for the purist its unreal so Battlefield is going for the 'being there' feel which I welcome, I'll enjoy both for what they are...

I see a lot of talk about converting the ISO to a GOD container - won't this run unpacked from external USB HDD?

no for some reason if unpacked it boots but when you go to start campaign it ask for disk. dosent matter if u load disk1 or disk2
it might work if you have diskswapper. but i dont

Wait... I don;t understand how all this works. I have LT2.0 and gow3 for example works o problem burning with imgburn..
So This have 2 discs. 2nd disc Is singleplayer campaign and I can just play it. 1st dist is mp and HD textures right? But to access these textures We need to install title update?
Cant I just log into xbl and download update? Or copy it into usb via xtaff explorer?

its only jtags.... no worries if you have it burned to dvd and can play off your dvd drive.
but not sure about the update thing. its like 166mb its too large for a titleupdate.if your not banned then you could probly get the update.but i smell banhammer!!!!

ohhh. So I can just paly it very well with LT2.0 just burned.. Ok thanks. I am not sure about title updates... It might be dangerous to connect to xbl to download it now. Especially if gme is not yet officialy released (not that I worry about ban becouse I dont play xbl anyway and for all I know - ban resoults only in blocking xbl acces, not corrupting game installs etc liek before)

Yes, you can always start with disc 2, the HD content is just a one time thing.

laffed my ass off. theres a mission where you gotta sneek by patrole and you crawl threw sewerpipe and a rat comes after you. i wanted to see what happens if i didnt kill him. so the rat jumped on me and i made noise and a guard killed me, but before i die i look at rat and give him the middle finger and die! best stuff ever!!!

im stuck on mission 4 when you bomb the runners its a endless loop they wont die and i dont run out of fuel weird
