I pre-ordered the game one month ago @42€ Still no key, what piss me off is that on main page, they say out of stock soon, and not yet key... Maybe they don't even do key delivery with a queue, i mean you can pre-order the game one year ago and be the last to get yours?

I don't think so man, actually what the verification dialog shows is a projected time for your windows clock according to the time it has at the moment of running the game .exe.

In other words, the projected time will change everytime you change your timezone in your windows install, but in the end the time of release will stay the same and it's October 25th 00:00 Korean Time (make the conversion accordingly to your real timezone).

That "October 24th 03:00" the dialog showed you, is actually October 24th 15:00 (03:00 +12) in your real timezone.

Yes, basically you can fool the system by changing your IP address, but not by changing your time settings.

Still, there is a slight chance something's amiss here, considering it's the actual game telling you the unlock time not something else. Like i said, maybe we get lucky who knows. I'll sure be up at 3 am to try it tho . Indeed it's the game that tells you the release time but it does so by calculating it using two values:

1. The official release time (Oct 25th 00:00 Korean time)
2. The timezone you have set in Windows at that particular moment (which happens to be a false timezone).

The result of the calculation happens to be an inaccurate release time (reflecting the "slight" 12-hour innacuracy in your time zone).

I really wish you were right though. I wouldn't even have to wait till 03:00 but till 22:30 on Sunday (GMT-4:30 timezone here) Very Happy

Ye therotically it would be 24th oct 18:00 for me in Romania if i'm not mistaken. But hm, you said 00:00 korean but then again when i set my timezone to hong kong it said 23:00 oct 24. Am i missing something? It was a hong kong ip too so would have made sense to show 00:00 oct 25 instead. Either way you should try it and report tonight. If you're in Romania and you use the Korean VPN you should be able to unlock October 24th @ 18:00 (6:00pm). For me it's at 10:30am. Lol yeah.. my bad i actually added those hours instead of substracting them. Still that dumbshit exe is missing 1 hour every single time.

Your english is fine, it was just me being hyped and calculating wrong.

@madness Sp works without Battlelog. And i think battlelog will be up early anyway.

Actually DICE said a few days ago that you can play the SP offline, so Battlelog mustn't be required.

I'm sorry if this has been asked. Is it possible to purchase a key now and install it to play singleplayer? Or are the sites not releasing cd-keys yet.

It is not possible since the files are encrypted, all you can do - buy the game and pre-load it.

Lightning effects are awesome as Flawzz says and theres a lot of post processing going on which makes the game look really gritty and real. Also the dirt/dust/smoke effects are the best by far in any console game yet. So everyone can calm down, this game really looks great. REALLY great. The story so far isnt the greatest but thats the same with cod. You can def. see that they are going for a more realistic feel. Enemies drop nearly instantly when you shoot them but so do you. I died countless times already. You really got to be careful. Only thing missing is some epicness. There were great events, dont get me wrong, but not as great as some of the stuff happening in the cod series. All in all its a worthy contender so far and without a doubt one of the prettiest games on the market. Really having a blast playing it.
