Use ISO2GOD(newest version 1.3.6) to convert disc 2 to a GOD...then put that on your external HD..as for the hi-res textures, you just need the 'content' folder on disc 1...you'll need to extract disc 1 to get it then transfer it to your internal HDD and place in 'content' folder..that's all..will run from FSD..i'm on latest 13599 dash.

i just have to say that this game is fucking AMAZING!!
first of all the gfx r one of the best i ever saw on an xbox game(probably the best ever) much better the the gfx in the beta,of course after installing the high res textures.
the sound is... wow i cant even describe the sound i just cant find the words, it just so much better then any other xbox game, so realistic, and believe me i have served in the army so i know how real war sounds like.
the AI of your teamates and enemies is really good+ DICE did a really good job with he motion capture.
the mood of the game is also really good just sucks you in and makes u feel like u r on a real battlefield.
the only downside i saw in the game is that the fps kinda sucks.

i just played the beta without the hd texture, and there is huge diffrance. the game looks much better, sharper and it seems that it also influenced the lightning effects they r much better then in the beta.
i didnt play the full without the hd textures.

Yeah, it tells you it needs 1.5g free for the textures, they are loaded off the 1st disk and then to play the campaign you need to put in disc 2...

thanks....I'll give it a try tomorrow once its downloaded, as extracted, and see what happens. Only had 1 game that refused to work in extracted mode (Star Wars Force Unleashed).....hope theres not going to start to be lots of them.
If you run the Disk1 as extracted or whatever, does it simply ask if you want to install the textures, thereby doing it for you instead of copying them over yourself?

I've put the game as a GOD file onto my external HDD and the corrent title update and HD pack ontothe internal HDD but the game still ask's for disc one.
Any idea's? I've just Yaris Swapped the HD pack and will try that. I usually run my game's as a extracted iso, via xex files.

the high resolution texture pack seems to be for the single player campaign only as the gfx are shit on multiplayer, single player is much better looking by far

according to x360iso site, it does work as extracted. Though I believe the disc 1 errors, so transfer that manually to the internal drive for the textures. disc 2 should run fine, though the person added the multi disc info to the dashlaunch plugin (I've never messed with the discswapper yet as not played any 2disc games that needed to swap myself yet)

Thats what I did, I always use the latest dashlauch with the folders configured for swap

You can transfer the TU and HD pack to internal , and put a GOD package in the correct folder structure on your USB and launch via FSD
