Yep - SP is ok but it's no real representation of the MP and how the game REALLY plays.

Like I say mate - each to their own - you ain't played the co-op and the feel is defo better than budget by a country mile. There aren't many slating this game on the Steam forums - hardly any that I've seen tbh and the reception for the game is about as good as I've seen for a while. I'm getting more and more into it with each MP. It's a buzzing game.
Oh and talking of consoles - I really dunno how you could play this with a joypad - it's seriously demanding as far as shooting is concerned. The PS3 players will defo not be having as much fun as the PC players.

Like DNF DEMO, Zero Gear, Dogfighters...

Ah ok - I think I seen that with MW2 a while back - well if that's the case then all the cynics should give it a go cos it's defo worth a play co-op.

Exactly, every single mp crack bout steamworks game (dead island/alien vs predator/dnf/mw2/fear 3) they did exactly the same way.

I wouldn't know mate - never look that close. If I fancy a MP game I usually buy it and there's only been the odd exception where I didn't and only cos there was no limitation on play with the cracked version - eg. Borderlands. I cba messing with Steam and appids - and Payday was cheap anyway. Still it's handy for those who wanna give it a go.

Yeah i usually buy mp games too, i dont have a international credit card, last game that i bought was SC2.

The idea behind this game was great - too bad they turned it into Left 4 Dead with cops instead of zombies. Some of the worst A.I. in recent memory - they don't use any tactics at all besides sheer swarm of numbers. Sad and uninstalled.
