Funny how an "AMD game" only uses around 60 and 40% on my GPU's, while giving me a crappy 70 fps (wich i had on single card aswell in the original)

These deferred lighting engines always stress the CPU a lot more. I get about 60% GPU usage on my 8800GT with SSAO off and 100% with SSAO on.

^ Wouldn't you say exactly that? In fact you would probably add "nice, now we have to pay to find out how it ends Rolling Eyes ".

So what does it matter when does it take place since they can make infinite DLC anyway?

Apparently there's a new update for the main game that apparently corrects many performance bugs (many of those shows on my PC btw): http://store.steampowered.com/news/6512/

The question is that if you install this DLC "the missing point", the main game would be updated aswell or if they are two completely separate games (and thus the new update has yet to be "released" and stuff).

The Deus Ex 3 1.3 patch (Released two days ago or what it was.) solves a number of issues but likely borrows from improvements done via adjustments to the game engine in "The Missing Link" which as you said is a separate product, I guess it could have worked as a addition to the game but I guess it required more work to update the existing content as well to be compatible or work well with the new engine changes or something like that.

I'm loving it so far. Taking my sweet time just like with vanilla, 6 hours so far till last night when I spent some good 20 minutes exploring Burke's office and looking for that safe till I found it. Will continue later tonight.

Oh I see.
The full OST is much longer than the one I got with AugEd.

Gues I'll have to acquire them from other sources after OST release.

I just beat it, great expansion on the main story...

 Spoiler:

I got some juicy 11 hours out of it. Not surprising considering I squeezed out like 55 hours from the main game. Bring on the next DLC! Very Happy

Hmm... I spent around ~36 hours with the original so, according to your stats, the DLC might be a ~7 hours run for me...

Still a bit undecided (and broke Sad).

It took me 8 hours to do everything.

Considering you had to pay $30 for something like Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil (~8 hours) or HL: Blue Shift (~5 hours), I'm not sure how cheap people want it to be. (And yes I realize these are FPS games, but their main campaigns were ~15-20 hours, not exactly short games)

I mean if they release another 8 hour DLC for $15, that's $30 for 16 hours of gameplay in total, that's as good as a "proper" expansion pack would be.

Of course YMMV depending on how fast you complete it, or more precisely how much you care to explore.

I just feel it's one of the cases of doing paid DLC the right way.
