Looks like my old GT8800 is dying, so i am looking for new one.
I always had Geforce GPUs, so i think that it will stays this way.

I am looking GeForce GTX 560 witch i could get for 170€.
Is GeForce GTX 560 Ti woth extra money for p/p ?

Are those two GPUs suitable for my system :

Intel (R) Core(TM) Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz
4GB RAM,
PCI Express
LC6600 v2.2 600W

I'd take the Ti. You can get it for around 180€ on standard cooling. (in Germany at least).

It is worth it, simply because I'd feel better about having that extra 10% performance on the Ti.

And yes, it is perfectly suitable for your system.I'd think about OCing that Q6600 though. Very Happy

Lol haven't seen that in years, since XP times.

Maybe because I'm not an SLI or 3D Vision fag ? Not sure how you can achieve it nowadays.

can we stop trolling about drivers every single GPU related thread, its so 2003. Both companies make excellent but not perfect drivers, if you run a single card you shouldnt ever run into issues. Rage was probably the only game in all those years i remember giving me issues, and we only have ID software for that to blame.
