How do these Work Razz

You dial the number and then hold your phone to a speaker with the song playing and then it sends you a text of what its called...

Is it someone sitting their that knows their music or is it somehow automated?

I fired some NWA - Fuck the Police down it and 2 seconds later it sent me a text say "NWA - **** the Police" So it actually worked..

Im useing the Coca Cola Tag one number - "62345" just dial it, put the phone next to a speaker for 20 seconds and it sends you a message of what it is... Costs something like 25p, BUT if you have a can of Coke, Enter the code on the bottom and it gives you a Coke Tag Pass which means it only costs something like 10p or less.... It was actaully Free for me because you only have to hold it their for 20 seconds and my phone only charges me when I hit 1 minute Very Happy

We need to try and confuse it Razz... Im gonna try a song off the Cypress Hill Album that they did in Spanish (Los Grandes Exitos) and see if they can work that out Razz Very Happy

Do you not have them in the USA ?? You jus tget your mobile phone and dial the number, put your phone next to some music that you want to know the name of and then it will text you back the artist and song title.

ahh ... I was trying to remember where exactly I saw it ... it was the commercial where the old lady was cheating on radio call in shows identifying obscure metal songs using the service Very Happy

been almost 2 hours now Very Happy

The track was the spanish version of Insane in the brane (Loco en el Coco)... I bet the little machine is sitting there burning out trying to work it out Very Happy hehe

Uhm, no i dont, and it took me like 5 mins to read through this thread. But having nothing better to do, in my case, is much better, since my not doing anything better does not waste money

for UK users use Shazam: dial 2580 and hold up to music source and it will text you the song. costs a small charge but it does work!
