Minimum hard drive space requirement is 3.6GB. Add to that the radio stations you've probably got somewhere between 4 and 5 gigs

Yeah, you even get to create your own radio station out of a custom soundtrack in the PC version. Can't wait!

Multiplayer in Grand Theft Auto is something we've always hoped for. While there won't be official multiplayer support in the PC version of GTA San Andreas, a development team has been hard at work preparing for a high-quality internet-based multiplayer modification for the game.
San Andreas Multi-Player (aka SA-MP) is currently being developed for the PC version of GTA Vice City and is approximately 80% completed. Kyeman, founder and lead developer of the mod, is hoping to port the modification over to the PC version of GTA San Andreas roughly 2 to 3 months after the game release. (I'm sure you'll have lots to do in single player mode until then)

2 to 3 months after release? I think they will never make it...but it's good to see that MTA finally has some competition cause after all, those guys have been working for years but accomplished very few. They already have some vids: http://www.sa-mp.com/media.php

Q: When will the first version of SA-MP be released?
Hopefully shortly after the PC version of SA is released Very Happy

The goal is about 2-3 months after the PC release to get a basic multiplayer happening. That's why we're doing alot of pre-planning.

updated:

Of course, do not expect too much in the first release of SA-MP - besides an empty world with a few cars that you can run around in with friends. Our priority is new releases over features, which means this mod will slowly evolve over the months following the GTA:SA PC release.

Well if they only maken an empty world with a few cars they will probably make it Wink

Q: How will you deal with the enormous map size of San Andreas?
A: It depends on the style of server we choose for SA-MP. We will mostly likely section off parts of San Andreas into many multiplayer maps

Not sure how long it takes to get 100% completion but on the PS2 it took me around 20 hours to complete all the story missions Smile That only gave something like 40 or 50% completion too.

The 20 to 30 min drive across the map is a little far-fetched. In reality it's about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the route you take. Still, regardless of how you look at it, it's pretty fucking huge.
