According to Steam:
"The Earth Defense Force has been defeated, and after centuries of oppression, Mars is finally free. For a time, there was peace. Yet from the forgotten ashes rose Adam Hale, scarred from years of struggle, seeking ultimate revenge against the Red Faction. His target, the one thing that keeps the surface of Mars habitable for thousands of colonists, is the Terraformer. Relive the battle for the Terraformer through four incredible new missions featuring aerial flyers, orbital strikes, and the Red Faction armored surface tank. Unlock two destructive new weapons, the Sharpshooter Gun and Shard Cannon, while earning ten new achievements in this thrilling new mission pack for Red Faction: Armageddon!"

I know beggars can't be choosers, but goddamn, late much fellas? It's like if they were to release Skyrim, or Saints Row 3, or Batman AC in March - anybody, pirate or not, who has wanted to play the game will have played it by then. Hate to sound ungrateful but....

Any performance improvement in Skidrow release?. The Ali213 one had a lot of stuttering on my PC.

I bought it on the sales, and the MP wasn't really populated at all unfortunately.

Next Red Faction to be outsourced to "a top-notch independent European developer".
Quote: | "The last game, I wouldn't say it was a failure, but it was a set-back," he said. "It was a disappointment. We realise that. That is included in the price tag for it.
"However, there are millions of fans who really liked the first product. It's a good concept. You just need to make it good.
"We have been approached by some good people today on that as well. It's a top-notch independent European developer, which has the resources. I can't say any more than that." |

1) No, most likely, because they were talking about Crytek already earlier in the same interview regarding Darksiders.
2) They are a publisher, not a developer.
3) Theoretically it could be, but nah, don't believe it.
4) Publisher/owned by said publisher.
Bonus: Could be 4A.

Ubisoft could have bought the IP just as well, but they weren't interested. They said at that time that they only wanted to expand their company, which is why they only bought the Montreal studio from THQ. CD Projekt seems to fit the best in my opinion. It would be great like that, considering they understand what makes a Red Faction game. Also, isn't CDP interested in going into other genres too? We'll see in the following days I guess (or later).

Ubisoft will develop a game to be published by Nordic Games?
Nope.

That would definitely make sense, especially if they want to go back to the glorious FPS roots. I loved Red Faction!

Haha the idea of a FPS is kinda fascinating until you remember about the typical copy-pasta linear shooters released nowadays, but on the bright side, after Armageddon it's hard to disappoint people even more
