Both, got likek 3 towns, smaller strongholds and 2 barracks (those that say they increase weekly growth of your troops numbers.

Also couldnt kill the chick, greyed out. WTF?

And another weird thing.. Already got like 400k gold and nothing to do with it? Million other resources too, why would i bother getting more mines?

Offline mode method or modified files?
(Just thinking of the patch - which I assume you use -added or changed any protection triggers via those files it updated, plus the launcher often auto-updating when started.)

I'm still doing the tutorial (legit version.) and learning some of those game mechanics but I guess it won't be too long until I arrive at those earlier mentioned areas, wonder if those bugs will trigger as well. Smile
(Also dynasty helps a lot but isn't used during the campaign other than getting achievements - some of which are really tough - for their reward points to unlock further bonuses for your dynasty character.)

(Dynasty abilities are similar to those normal stats though so I guess eventually in the campaign you have what you want such as better abilities, spells or bonuses like building twice per turn.)

I'm using 1.1 with skidrow crack.

Also megarofl, just had -924092042 troops to recruit this week. Defo bugged or protection trigger.

You also get dynasty bonuses at start of missions and a dynasty weapon which upgrades during the game... both of which is disabled in offline mode.

Edit: @russ80 - I'm using "clean" install (Skidrow dvd but no crack, just /offline), will see if the bugs appear in Mission 2. However I'd love to get those dynasty bonuses if they ever become cracked.

Meh, seems with the 1.0 version, no crack and just /offline the troops are fine now. Only got 1st town and another fort and already 20 of each t_t

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and delete this. Ubisoft successfully trolled the world, if you play in offline mode it seems the game is sadistically unfair, throwing some nasty limitations at you -- as well as stripping your progress after each mission.

It looks good, plays good, seems good - so I'll either wait for a cheap key ($15 max) or tell Ubisoft to stuff their bullshit up their arse and just wait for a server crack/ignore the game entirely. King's Bounty shits on the HoMM series of late anyhow

Cool. Downloading now the GOTY version. Think i'm'a postpone m&m6 too...too many "triggers" and "online-only" features bugging it out >.>. Thanks for the KB mention had no clue the game even existed Very Happy.

Seriously? King's Bounty is actually OLDER than the M&M series... and they were made by the same guy Wink Recent King's Bounty titles (from Legend onwards) share more in common with HoMM 4/5 and were made by a Russian developer called Katauri. They are EXCELLENT games and most highly recommended for HoMM fans =)

IMO The Legend+ are better than HoMM 4/5/6.

i am playing the skidrow version without the crack (1.1 /Offline method)
Just minor bugs here:
- mouse flickering
- mouse scroll sometimes laggy
- i fasted out the animations and the victory sound of the units fasted out as well (now they sound like little cats)

The tutorial misiions where too easy (on hard) the final guy cant hurt me in the first 3 rounds after that only minor losses. I dont need the dynasty bonuses, the game is already too easy without them.

no need for trolling.
The AI is very bad. he never moves with the shilded heaven unit as it should. He always attack the sisters first ...
With a healing spell and sisters unit you can play the tutorial without a single loss. (on hard)

You're forgetting the fact that your piddly 12 Sisters don't LAST long, as the enemy targets them with ranged/spells, since the AI is bollocksed. You can't use heal to resurrect the lost sisters because you can only use it twice per battle and the enemy takes out 3-4 Sisters per attack. Then I guess you didn't get hit with the "lovely" bug of enemy reinforcing themselves immediately without waiting the week that WE have to... or the fact that you only get 10 reinforcements per week. Or how about losing your discovered items/equipment after each mission?

Yeah, real "easy" Rolling Eyes I finished it just fine, but that's because I'm awesome. The difficulty is still fucked regardless Smug

Just stand the sentinel unit next to others (sister always) and there will be not much losses.

So far so good in offline mode 1.1, game is actually pretty good. The only thing I miss is all the dynasty stuff in the singleplayer campaign... hope it gets cracked somehow (I mean, if AC's always-on DRM could be fooled by a fake server, why not this?)

I don't understand how a crack is not needed since Ubisoft are sure to put some triggers in there. Saying "it works in offline mode, crack is unneeded" seems a bit stupid to me. If you absolutely want to release some 'crack', check for triggers first ffs.

I was in love in heroes V.. so i tried the game..

I like how it runs 1000 times better than the beta (i was not expecting such a nice performance boost considering how bad it was then.. )

I am near the end of the second campaign map.. So far.. its ok-ish. I like the voice overs, the cut scenes..

The graphics are nice - but i dont find them a big step above heroes 5..
The music is good as always.
As for the battles.. uh.. every single creature so far can cross the whole grid in just 2 turns.. wtf happened to the slow moving stuff -.-


I hated the necro racial ability in the beta.. i dont like Heaven's one here as well.. it just takes ages + loses to gather and its good for a single turn (i tend to forget when the turn ends and waste it) or it just disappears after i attack something..

Also the whole thing looks like an mmo game -.- Tho i know that dynasty crap is nothing more than a new DRM... and it works.. its annoys the crap outta me... No starting bonuses.. no cool items etc... gj Ubisoft you cunts -.-

For me, units only seem to grow/respawn near the hero i have selected.
Like, if i have 2 heroes in two different towns, stuff only spawns in one of them at the end of the week.

Tried with 1.0 and 1.1.
Its all very odd and confusing :P

I *think* the way it works is that respawns are now kingdom-wide... i.e. you can recruit everything at a single city. So if you recruit stuff with 1 hero, obviously there won't be anything left for the other. Might be wrong tho.

Btw the more I think about it, the more worried I get about these new online-only features. It's not game-breaking so it's unlikely to be cracked, on the other hand it still makes the experience incomplete, kind of like playing a demo. I'm afraid this will become a new form of DRM which the scene won't bother cracking.
