As the subject says, double click the icon, it loads, turns the screen black, and then crashes EVERY TIME.
AMD Quad core, XP, ATI 5970 Video card (1GB), and 3.3GB of RAM.
Has this been seen before? Anyone know what the deal is?

That allowed me to play until I get to Dead City Center, when I try to enter the doors, it crashes. EVERY TIME. :-\

OK, a little more info in the event anyone else has seen this. It seems to crash every 2 scene changes. If I got INTO an area, it loads, and everything works, but upon exiting, it crashes. I assumed I might have done something bad early on in the game, and had something screwy in my savegame, so I restarted the game, and it still does it.
I had similar problems with the last Call of Juarez (it just plain wouldn't run AT ALL), and Bullet storm I think it was. But I've played everything else.
This is just weird.

I grabbed the Skid Row update, and was able to finish the game. It still crashed from time to time during the "scene transitions", but I could just restart it to continue.
So, if you've having the same problem, I suggest you do the same.
