I haven't installed it yet mate, though it's definitely on the agenda. If "others" could get 60 with weak hardware, I'm damn sure going to get it with my new rig Anyhow, for the San Andreas fans amongst us (oh god why?)

Tried it,look very good. But whole map is empyt,no traffic and no people.Only me,my bike and whaever i spawn with trainer(which i cant find how to activate if someone know how...).Is there a way to spawn some traffick, cops, pedestrians or its not possible at this point?
The many times i tried those ENB and icehancer mods, it never looked as photo realistic as the screenshots everyone posts. Yes it looked much better than without mods, but still not as sexy like the photos

because they are down sized massively...
go look at the youtube videos and try to find one thats 1920x1080 res.. oh looks it looks awesome in a small window even at a shitty resolution but as soon ass you hit 1080 and go fullscreen it looks a bit shit.
all the "good" screenshots are downsized from silly resolutions and mask how it really looks
Still can't believe there are people that think GTA V will look close to "modded" GTA IV. They're in for a disappointment.
This. There's not much else you can squeeze out of the 360 these days guys, it's already looking pretty damn long in the tooth... and if GTAV is going to be on the 360, then it's not going to look even remotely as good as a modded GTAIV on the PC. Hell, it doesn't even look as good as a STOCK install GTAIV on the PC.
Yeah, I did actually =) Running max settings/unmodded on 1.0.7.0 it was fabulous, anywhere between 40-60fps ... but running stock or ICEnhancer 1.25 on 1.0.4.0 was awful, cut framerate to below 30. Probably a glitch. I'll wait for ICE 1.35 so I can run the 1.7 patch.

With Athlon II x3(@3.5) and an HD5870, I cant even go past 30-40 fps inside the city. Drops to 20 sometimes. Low GPU usage, hits %100 when I'm looking at empty positions. Such as the ocean.
so, ruling out shitty optimization, what hardware upgrade provided the greatest performance boost?
The processor, without a doubt. I was like trashci above, on my old dual-core - even running at 3.6 - the game was massively bottlenecked. Averaged in the mid 30s, sometimes dropping to 20s in city. The processor change from dual to quad is the key.
