Fucking three hours and I got nowhere. It's fun but fuck me I don't have time to reload 20 times to kill a boss and get through entire level to get to him.
I turned off the console in rage. So now I'll play some Rage, which is ironically, piss easy.
i've died a buncha times on bosses but it rarely takes me more than 5 minutes to run back to the boss. Though I just got into blighttown and barely made it to the first bonfire. Framerate is absolute shit. Game is hard enough wihtout the framerate spiking.
Yea the framerate is horrible in blighttown, really make it painful to be down there but sadly I don't have that many other options right now :/
to guys with framerate problems, are you on xbox or ps. Im on xbox and it is not good. FR everywhere, especially if I am outside, in closed quarters, it is much better.

Theres definitely supposed to be a shortcut down there I think you need to find a key of some sort in blight but not been there yet will be doing the boss today.
I am a noobie in this game ... well, any idea what's the best class? I know that it depends on the game style we prefer but maybe someone can give some tips about it.
I started as a warrior, then I restart the game as a thief and now as a Sorcerer but I keep feeling frustrated with my character.
Being a sorcerer is nice but I usually spend almost all my Soul Arrow spells going from a "camp site" to a boss (or some more difficult area). So, when I really need to use my spells I don't have it. Well, it probably means that I shouldn't spend my spells getting there.
Outta interest, any of you guys manage to get dark souls working on the ps3 with CFW? I believe latest is still on 3.55 and i think this needs like 3.70 to run unless im mistaken?
Just wondering if anyone has had any workaround success?

the ps3scene is pretty stuck atm, at least retail game wise, you have to wait and see, i´m afraid. There is the occasional mishap where some dev still used old keys, but DS is not among those.
Just farmed 100k souls in about 30-40 minutes last night in the Artorias Darkwood forest or whatever it's called. The one where you have to run through the crazy one legged demon sorcerer with the huge electric staff. The 4 dumb mobs in there follow you to the ledge of the entrance and fall down the mountain, 7k xp in 1 minute.
And I got the required 20k souls for Crest of Artorias by simply going back to the Undead Asylum and killing all the undead there and around the boss area, just be careful to NOT walk on the ground where you fought the boss in the middle, because you'll fall down and it'll be the end of you!
I went mostly for Str/Dex/Sta build right now, but I want to add some magic. But not faith based.

Well.......the reset trick is GONE!! FROM managed to patch this glitch....this will make it SO frustrating, but at the same time a lot more awesome and challenging.
I tried powering off my xbox soon as i died, the game threw me right back to the moment my soul leaves the body. They presave the state somehow....bastards.
So no more resetting, unless there's some other way...
The good thing is that it's on the 360. I wonder if the exit to XMB trick still work on PS3. Don't have the game yet but i will try as soon as i have

Just watch this, will tell you exactly where to go...
You'll find that not all the mobs jump down sometimes, it's ok, just run to them and run back to the same spot real fast, they'll start pathing you again and jump down. Sometimes you have to run all the way back to the black temple where the melee tough guy is and lure him back.
Basically I think one of the best if not the best farming spots. SUPER easy to do ,just make sure you're hollow when you do it and remove ALL your armor to run fast.
If you're in human form, you'll have countless scumbags invading you, killed 3 today until I got double teamed by a coward sorcerer and a knight.
There are also unique mobs here you only get to kill once I think, haven't tried them yet.
You'll have everything you need in no time.
After this, I freed the sorcerer form the basement of Dead Burg (make sure to buy a residence key from the undead before that level) and he sold me all the soul arrow spells including the heavy soul arrow which is GREAT for bosses.
I upped my int to 15 and my attunement. SO easy to do with that soul farming spot.
Don's miss the wall you can smash to get to the hidden bonfire right to the left of the entrance to the sealed forest.
Im now trying to fight that gargoyle..jesus christ I died so many times to get there , but during my rape I learned many things + I have shortcut through that gate I opened..and that guy with huge mace and shield is gone..fuckin prick..
