This ZDP thingy acts weird,tells me that it cant connect to the LIVE service at all.Should instead tell me that its not zombie slashing time yet

It's stand-alone, basically like a Dead Rising 2 with Frank West as main protagonist. I think there are some new areas/weapons too, but don't expect anything particularly different from DR2  |

I really tried to like DR2, I mean it should be the perfect game, plenty of zombies to slice up plenty of gore but dammit they all fall down the SAME way every time, every zombie has the same animation, absolutely no ragdoll physics here which is a FUCKING shame, seeing the zombies die with the same death animation over and over and over is just well very boring IMO. Did they add physics to this one ? I might try it out otherwise skip for me.

Gave it a try, 5min later i uninstalled.
