No bullet-hit "bug" here and every single shot that I actually fired on TARGET were registered correctly. There were no mega hitboxes here.

Well I never experienced that, every hit registered for me - including headshots. Sorry you had to deal with otherwise.

Good, i wish i didnt , even though its a relatively minor "issue" its a pain in the arse and shouldnt be there at all , been playing FPS for a loong time and prefer sniper so i know my aim is good and my aim IS good.

I wont mention the stupidity of not being able to use an enemies weapons in a game that uses inventory based weapons and "stores".......not an issue more of a stupid idea not to be able to use them.

The graphics on the other hand DO need sorting out and should be a priority , although i suppose if the minority of a handful have no issues like yourself ( and it is a handful ) then ID will continue to pass the buck onto the "drivers"

Today it is my turn to be AN knobhead

Believe me, I've griped over that as well. I can loot enemies for their ammo and tins of cat food... but I can't pick up their weapons? Not even to SELL if not use? Blegh.

Of all the things this game needs, a guide is NOT one of them. FFS... the game SHOWS you what each recipe requires when constructing it.. and, if that's not enough, it shows you what objects use which ingredients right from the inventory. Honestly, an engineering guide is not needed. This ain't Minecraft/Terraria Very Happy

Oh, to all ATI users that installed the latest 11.10 Preview 2, make sure you don't have the old atioglxx.dll left in your Rage directory, otherwise it doesn't matter what driver you install since that dll-file will override any installed driver.

I'm sorry, but I can't agree with this. Carmack sold out, and these days even defends his decision, as well as blaming everyone but id for the problems the game is having.

Now, for a console gamer, this is certainly a huge evolution in comparison to the shit FPSes they are getting (gears of bore and the likes), but for us PC gamers this just isn't the type of game or tech you would expect from id. The game is solid, but this is id, I expect more than solid, and certainly something, that doesn't compromise. This compromised, a lot.

Sarcasm was lost on the way somehow. (suntem din acelasi loc, apropo). Further more, ID was always a bland piece of shit, you just didn't had eyes for that.

HD 4890 here.
I noticed that playing around with the vt_maxPPF setting somewhat fixes this "checkerboard" problem. Values 64 and 128 seem to work best, give it a try.
Using 11.9 drivers and new atioglxx.dll placed in game directory.
