Adebisi, I checked the links and they say it reads the disk for 5 minutes for them, but I played the hole first chapter with the disk spinning all the time - fat lite-on.

I have a question. When you spoof the key into LT2.0 doesnt jf automatically prepare that spoof to be written on the console ? Whats the point in saving the bin file? And how do you load that saved bin file into the buffer ? |
anyone ? |
Are you going from Stock?
I'm not sure about the specifics of you're actual question but the method I always follow is shown below. I used it on 2 xboxes (liteons) yesterday...
0) We're going from a stock, latest firmware liteon drive
1) Load official FW into the source entry in JF. All the DVDkey will contain F's
2) Load the required iXtreme into target FW.
3) Click Spoof to target (or words to that effect) and all the F's will now appear in the target.
4) Now click 'Manual Spoof' and enter in the correct key. Leave the drive options alone on the screen.
5) The correct key should now be in the target FW box.
6) Go into vendor mode and away we go.
There might be an easier way of doing it, but that works for me. Remember to send the outro after flashing (the bit I always forget) |
Wow nevermind (but thanks).. the motherfucker that flashed my console gaved me the wrong dvdkey and i just spend 2 days of my life trying to mod the motherfucker while cursing at it. Now i got the real key and.. duh.. it worked from the first try

I don't know why in every tutorial they say to leave the layer break at 2133520. What's the point if imgburn defaults in 2086912 anyway (or not in my case). I fucked up one DL because it didn't auto switch to 2086912, the next burn I've manually set it in .dvd file and everything is working fine.

Clear the HDD cache just incase.
Also, does it even give you the option to install to HDD? If so, whats the result of that.
Sounds like a bad burn imo (did you burn from the iso or .dvd file, if iso, use abgx360 to create a dvd file and burn off that) if it's running older backups correctly.

Whats so bad about Hitachi's ? I have only ever owned one 360 and only ever flashed it once. Was a pain to learn the process but it went ok eventually. I was under the impression from reading the Jungleflasher tutorial that Hitachi's were the easiest to flash.

Does spoofing drives still work on 13599? If so, I recommend updating to 13599, then spoofing your Hitachi drives as LiteOn with LT2.0

As I said I have only flashed it once, still learning.
So essentially I can spoof the drive to any 'model' and flash it with Liteon/other firmware? Seems a bit too easy, why bother having different firmwares at all?
