It's because of the lag-compensation, just like the CoD games.
I don't see how it can be fixed.
Of course lag compensation can't be fixed cause that's a feature (present in many first-person shooters old and new) and not a bug. What can be fixed is the lag itself of course. But anyway I think Hierofan is talking about a different bug that DICE has mentioned as being fixed.
it hasn't been fixed
if you crawl behind a rock, he can still hit and kill you even on low (20something) lag servers
Sorry if I didn't express myself very well. I meant that it's being currently fixed (as a work in progress) and we won't see the fix on this beta
guess sweden-france routing isnt all that great ...
for me, FR/DE/UK servers are all 30-40 ms
French internet infrastructure is shit. Any connection coming in from the north goes through Wanadoo.fr (or what used to be Wanadoo), which are basically 110 year old copper lines which can barely handle the phone traffic on them.
I played some with Pumpy and Aeon and it was nice even though I had horrible performance issues and terrible hit reg.
Though it was not very nice of them to ignore me when I greeted them.
Sorry the chat is such a piece of crap, you can't write when you are dead and when I'm alive I have a hard time staying alive and don't pay attention to it Nothing on purpose <3

BF3 beta performance is good on high-ultra mix of settings in Caspian, great on mostly ultra on Metro.
Given the large scale of BF3, would an extra 4GB RAM improve my performance, even by a little, in huge maps such as CB?
Im getting some stuff from newegg.com for a relative and I was just wondering if I should add that to my cart...
RAM won't increase your FPS. 4GB should be enough and if you are not experiencing any sudden stops or stutters in the game due to heavy disk activity, you are clear.
I suggest you wait until the release, and if you will have issues with the game due to memory running out, just get some more then. +2GB should be more than enough. You can check the task manager while the game is running to see if you are reaching the limits of your memory capacity.
