Yet the firmware files are called LTPlus? I thought LT-MAX was special burning software :\

I don't have a lot of time to keep up to date with firmware update progress. I check in when I need to update and learn what I need then, that's all.
Thanks for answering, thought it was some special tool needed for overburning dvd9s or something.

Nah, that's just for "max capacity" - though I agree with you; c4eva is being strangely silent. Not that I'm complaining or anything.. the guy is awesome <3

Wow this is cool. Bit confused by the file sizes thing though. Does GOW3 fit onto a normal dual layer verb? or do we all need to go and buy extra capacity disks?
Also, once I have flashed this FW, am I then safe to take the jump up to the latest dash? (I am currently on a 1 year old dash with an even older DVD xTreme Firmware!)
Or do i have to take the drive key out of my current drives fw, insert it into a stock firmware for the drive, then update to latest dash, then flash the newest xtreme 2.0 onto the drive again?

As schimi said; simply load it into JF and flash as you would any normal FW. Then follow the instructions in the RRoD NFO for burning via IMGburn.

Hitachi's are the only ones that don't get flashed. I'm not sure if its safe to do with samsung though.

And to those who burned gow3. How did You burned it?
is installation normal? Copy key and flash?

and note to those who arent ashboard updated yet.
You have to update dashboard before doing so, that Your drive will become 025 model. Then apply 2.0

Those with latest dash and 1.91 can just flash 2.0 onto it? no need to stock right?
