We still haven't had the retail version on our hands, BETA doesn't include Ultra.
Where do you get that from?
There are people going around with 5770 saying that they can play the game on Ultra while DICE/NVIDIA stated: SLI GTX580 >60fps.
They said they used those cards in SLI to demo the game to the press, but later confirmed that it wasn't needed. It was simply what they used, when it was still early in development, to keep the game smooth when showcasing it.

Repi himself stated it was taken out of context.
I remember the E3 demo was running on a single GTX 580, wasn't it?
In the beta I get pretty good performance without AA & Motion Blur, everything else on Ultra, running @ 1680x1050, but that's nearly FHD so I reckon same FPS on a FHD display.

Yes, repi's responses FULLY indicate, Ultra is the real Ultra. It's additional performance improvements you should expect in the retail, but the graphics quality is finalized.

Is there a way to join the same server as other nfohump platoon members? I'm guessing the green border around the avatar in the member list means they are in game, but i can't figure out how to join the same server without browsing to their profile and looking in their server history.

Lol...what? First they said the recommended requirements were for medium. Then they said for high. Now they say for ultra, when it used to be "ultra will require SLI gtx 580s".
Hmm, I can't see player team indicators anymore. Anyone else had the same happen? Kinda hard to differentiate between team members and enemies in this game without them.
Gonna call it a night, sick and tired of having the game crash just when it starts getting fun.

That's just what they used for their demos I think and it was taken out of context.
After playing some more I have to agree with the posters criticizing the warsaw pact weapons, they definitely seem to suffer greater recoil and spread.

Guys come on anyone quoting what nvidia or anyone else says is required is obviously sales bullshit, they aint going to tell you that you can run the game on ultra with a 570 or a 560 otherwise people wont buy a 580 or a pair of 570's they just bullshit you into buying something you dont need.
