Saw the pilot, couple days ago, and it was awesome. Had it all, thriller, action, chuck norris shit ,suspense and comedy. The 2 main actors are cool, especially the guy from LOST, i totally like him, i think hes a great actor.

This is the only new series from this fall that made me wanna watch it weekly; dont watch many tv shows, only 4-5, but this one impressed me; looking forward to see how the plot expands.

i was actually disappointed by the pilot. it feels like lost. as in the idea is amazing. concept is great. acting is top notch. i love jesus / number 6. hate the guy from lost, he's playing the same derp. Nothing really changed... but the premise, though dickish (stfu if you dunno), seems like the idea on a grand scale will inevitably fail. it should've been a mini series. 10 episodes tops. go from start to finish. because if they milk it, and they might, they could get lost and we'll never know the real reasoning behind it all. Crying or Very sad

It was an OK start. A bit too formulaic and I don't like the fact they have to explain every single thing (god bless American TV), but it was enjoyable. The premise seems utter bullshit though, but that's me I guess. I'd rather have some supernatural explanation than a computer which can magically predict shit's going to happen.

It's not magic it's science Razz

The computer software analyzes voice and video and based on certain keywords and actions it can classify if someone is involved in dangerous activity... It's even hardly far off from what todays software can do.

Huh? How is predicting the weather even remotely comparable to predicting human behaviour?

Human behavior hasn't changed much over the course of our existance. Why wouldn't they be able to predict human behavior based on certain criterias. Of course there is always room for error just like in predicting the weather. And i'm not saying it would be perfect. it doesn't predict what they will do or what will happen to them just that something will based off of set criteria.

Are you implying the computer software in the show predicts human behavior? Because that's not the case.

Just watched the pilot and was bored senseless - the premise seems really derivative and Caviezel is a total charisma vacuum.

The only good part was Winona from Justified... she rates very highly on the boner-meter.

I enjoyed EP2 far more than the pilot.

Still not great though, but it could get better.

The operative guy is a stiff. Close to zero acting skills and it seems like zero effort all the time. Plus the writing is mediocre at best. Meh.

The fourth ep wasn't good, I doubt the show is actually going anywhere. The premise isn't very interesting and the writing is far from imaginative. Epsidodes two and three were fun and had potential, but it doesn't grow. I was wrong about Caviezel, the guy is really making zero effort to act. He just recites his lines in a monotonous voice and walks around like he's bored.

Skippidy skip. I foresee a cancellation in the very near future.

Code:
So Fox decides to cancel Human Target and CBS picks up Person of Interest...

Human Target - Ex-assassin tries to find redemption by trying to save the life of others. Is eventually funded by a wealthy person. Lots of action and lots of wit.

Person of Interest - Ex-CIA assassin is hired by a wealthy person to save the lives of others, probably for redemption. Lots of action and yeah...

However the best part of the previews...

"What do all these numbers represent?"

"Lost chances."

Really J.J. Really?

Laughing

but yeah that sums it up

oh fucking WAIT so thats WHY Fringe became so crap he jump off to make another series Laughing like his other Tv series Laughing

jj is only responsible for the base plot on some of his shows.
other people are responsible for the rest. (what happened to lost wasn't jjs fault)
poi is a nolan project though
jj is only using his tv magic to produce it.
